OnePlus had introduced its new flagship smartphones yesterday, and had shown a couple of promo videos during the announcement. Well, those promo videos for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are now available on YouTube, in case you’d like to check them out.
We’ve embedded two OnePlus 7 Pro videos, and one OnePlus 7 promo video down below. The first video is actually the general announcement video for the company’s brand new flagship. This video has a duration of about two minutes, and it emphasizes the phone’s design and features.
In this video, the company talks about the phone’s stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, the phone’s gorgeous 90Hz QHD+ display, the device’s extremely smooth performance due to powerful internals and software optimizations, and so on. OnePlus even threw in a couple of features that were not mentioned during the announcement(s).
The second OnePlus 7 Pro promo video is a bit shorter, it has a duration of exactly one minute. This video is entirely about the phone’s design and its display, as it simply shows off every inch of the phone, and the buttery smoothness of the phone’s display, utilizing 90Hz refresh rate.
The regular OnePlus 7 did not get nearly as much exposure as the OnePlus 7 Pro during the company’s press conferences (OnePlus hosted announcements in several countries), as the company mentioned it briefly towards the end. The OnePlus 7 is a compelling phone, though, and those of you who do not need / want all the bells and whistles that the OnePlus 7 Pro offers, should consider getting the smaller OnePlus 7.
The OnePlus 7’s promo video is considerably shorter in terms of duration than the two the company published for the OnePlus 7 Pro, but it does give you a good look at the phone, as this video is basically entirely about the OnePlus 7’s design.
The OnePlus 7 is smaller than the OnePlus 7, and it actually looks considerably different, at least from the front. The OnePlus 7 is basically a reincarnated OnePlus 6T, as it sports almost the same design.
The OnePlus 7 does utilize UFS 3.0 flash storage, like the OnePlus 7 Pro, while it also comes with stereo speakers like its larger sibling. The phone does include a waterdrop notch, unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro, but some people will prefer this solution, as it means you don’t have to deal with moving parts.
The OnePlus 7 also includes one less rear-facing camera compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, as it ships with two of them, but the main camera sensor is the same on the OnePlus 7, even though the lens aperture is a bit different (f/1.7 vs f/1.6).
The OnePlus 7 Pro will officially go on sale on May 21, while the OnePlus 7 is scheduled to become available in early June. The OnePlus 7 will not be available in all regions, though, as it will not be coming to the US, for example.
