Best LG G8 ThinQ Cases You Can Buy - April 2019

The LG G8 ThinQ is yet another glass sandwich smartphone. And now that there is no camera bump, it makes the G8 ThinQ even more slippery than any other glass smartphone out there right now. Which is why it's important to pick up a case for the new LG G8 ThinQ. Even if you don't think you'll ever drop the phone, getting a case is still a good idea. Think of it as a cheap insurance policy for keeping your phone in working order.

We've rounded up the very best cases for the LG G8 ThinQ that are currently available.

Spigen Rugged Armor

The Spigen Rugged Armor is a pretty popular case for just about any smartphone on the market, so it's no surprise that it at the top of our list. That's because it is a really great looking case that can also absorb plenty of impact if you do happen to drop your phone.

With the Spigen Rugged Armor you're going to be able to rock a protected LG G8 ThinQ, but also have a good looking one. It is a TPU case so it's easy to put on, and doesn't make the phone very bulky. It also has a carbon fiber look at the top of the phone that looks pretty nice too. Unfortunately, Spigen only offers this case in a black color, so you can't get a clear or red one.

You can pick up the Spigen Rugged Armor from Amazon using the link below. This is a very competitively priced case, at just $13.99.

Vinve TPU Protective Case

The Vinve TPU Protective Case actually looks a whole lot like the Spigen Rugged Armor case that is shown above. Although it does have that brushed aluminum finish too. This is another TPU case that does also have shock absorption, so even if you do drop your new LG G8 ThinQ, you're going to be just fine.

Like the Spigen option above, the Vinve TPU Protective Case is easy to put on and does have a lip over the screen. That is to protect the screen, and now that the earpiece is under the display, it's more important than ever. It has a nice brushed aluminum finish on the back, with some carbon fiber at the top and bottom. This is just decorative, but it does look very nice. Especially for those that want to keep their phone looking pretty nice.

You can pick up the Vinve TPU Protective Case from Amazon using the link below, it is currently priced at just $5.98 which is an incredible price for a case.

LuckyMi TPU & Hard PC Hybrid Cover

The LuckyMi TPU & Hard PC Hybrid Cover  is a great case for those that are a bit on the clumsy side. As it is going to offer you even more protection for your smartphone, and that is always a good thing, especially with an all-glass smartphone like many of the ones coming out these days.

There's no way to get around it, this is a very thick case. And that is because of the protection it offers. This is a dual-layer case with a TPU inner layer and a hard polycarbonate outer layer that is designed to take all of the damage when (or if) you drop your phone. There are still holes on the back for getting to the fingerprint sensor and using the cameras. Even though this is a thicker case, the wide-angle camera is not affected with this case on. Which is always good news.

You can pick up the LuckyMi TPU & Hard PC Hybrid Cover  from Amazon right now for just $9.98. That's a pretty good price for a rugged case like this one here.

Arkour Minimalist Ultra Thin Slim Fit Cover

Not everyone wants a super thick case for their smartphone. As it makes it heavier and a bit tougher to actually use the phone. That's where the Arkour Minimalist Ultra Thin Slim Fit Cover comes in. This is a slim fit case that is very slim, and the main reason for using it is to add grip to the backside of the LG G8 ThinQ.

This case is not going to protect the LG G8 ThinQ from as many falls as some of the other cases on this list. For example, there's no lip over the display to protect it. So keep that in mind here. But with this case, you are going to get some grip on the back and sides, so you are much less likely to actually drop the phone. And that is always an important thing.

The Arkour Minimalist Ultra Thin Slim Fit Cover is available in a few colors: red, blue, black, gravel black and gravel gray. It is available from Amazon using the link below, and it is priced at just $11.99 right now.

Incipio DualPro Dual-Layer Case

Incipio has a dual-layer case available for the LG G8 ThinQ as well, and it's a really great one to check out. This one is all black, so it's not flashy like some of the other cases on this list, but still a good option for a lot of people - it's also one of the more expensive, but you are getting what you pay for.

This is a dual-layer case with a TPU inner layer and then a polycarbonate outer layer. This is done this way so that the polycarbonate outer layer will take all of the damage, when you do drop the phone. The TPU layer will protect the phone, instead of just using a hard case. This is because some cases will still scratch the phone it is supposed to be protecting. Which is not a good thing. Now this is a bit of a thicker case than some of the others out there, so keep that in mind when purchasing this one. It is going to make your phone much more bulky. Wireless charging does still work with the Incipio DualPro, even though it is a bit thicker.

You can pick up the Incipio DualPro Dual-Layer Case from Amazon using the link below. It is currently priced at $29.99.

Spigen Liquid Crystal

Rounding out this list, we have a crystal clear case from Spigen. This is the Spigen Liquid Crystal which is a really good looking case and will allow you to still show off the design of the LGG8 ThinQ. This is especially great if you did get the red LG G8 ThinQ.

This case is similar to Spigen's other cases, but it's clear now. It is still a TPU case, so it's not going to be super thick, but still add some grip to the LG G8 ThinQ. It will still protect the sides and front of the phone too. With the lip over the display, it may make it a bit tougher to use the LG G8 ThinQ, but it does still work pretty well for protecting it, if you do indeed drop the phone. Let's face it, stuff happens. Even those of us who have never dropped our phones, will drop them eventually. There are still holes on the backside for the fingerprint sensor and the cameras. Also important, the case does not get in the way of the wide-angle lens on the back of the LG G8 ThinQ. Finally, this does not hinder its ability to charge wirelessly.

You can pick up the Spigen Liquid Crystal from Amazon using the link below. Spigen is currently selling it for $11.99.

Wrap Up

The LG G8 ThinQ is a great looking smartphone (though some may disagree with that), and you're going to want to keep it looking great. That is why you need a case for that smartphone. Imagine dropping your LG G8 ThinQ and shattering the glass on the back of the phone. It no longer looks great at all. And in fact, it can be dangerous to even use, since it is shattered glass. That's why it is important to pick up a case for your LG G8 ThinQ, so you can keep the phone protected at all times.

This list has a case for just about everyone. Those that want a good looking TPU case, there's an option from Spigen and Vinve. Those that want a clear case, Spigen also has you covered with a clear case. Then there are some bulky cases and dual-layer cases that also work really well for protecting the LG G8 ThinQ. No matter what style you want for your LG G8 ThinQ, there's something here for everyone. Which is great to see, especially for those that sill want to show off the design of their LG G8 ThinQ.

You really can't go wrong with any of the cases on this list. They are all great cases that will do well to protect your LG G8 ThinQ. There are plenty more cases available too, which you can check those out on Amazon here. These cases hit all sorts of price points, dropping down to as low as $5.98, which is pretty inexpensive for a case.
