Amazon has discounted the brand new Samsung Galaxy S10e, dropping it down to just $730. Now that's not a huge discount, only about $20. But that is still a discount. The Galaxy S10e is Samsung's lower-end of the three smartphones that it has this year, and it's the one that most people are going to want.
The Galaxy S10e has a smaller 5.8-inch full HD+ display compared to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. But it still sports the Snapdragon 855 chipset, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also a micro SD card slot included for expanding storage, should you need more space. There is also a smaller 3100mAh capacity battery inside, but given the lower resolution display, it should last a full day too. Samsung did keep a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy S10e, with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 12-megapixel main sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a 3.5-star out of five star rating on Amazon right now, from over 50 reviews. That's a bit lower than many where expecting, likely because they thought it was the main Galaxy S10 model that's $150 more expensive. The Galaxy S10e also has the capacitive fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone, versus using the ultrasonic under-display sensor on the other Galaxy S10's.
