Huawei Y7 2019 Silently Launches In Europe, Is Already Available

Huawei has launched its P smart+ 2019 smartphone recently without an official announcement, and yet another smartphone has been silently launched by the company, the Huawei Y7 2019. The Huawei Y7 2019 has been listed on the company's official website, just like the P smart+ 2019.

The Huawei Y7 2019 is a budget smartphone, as it's a part of Huawei's entry-level Y series of devices. The phone is extremely similar to the Y7 Pro 2019, almost identical in fact, but it comes with a downgraded front-facing camera. The phone's display sports rounded corners.

It looks identical to the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019

The phone comes with a tiny notch at the top of its display, while a "chin" is located below the display. That chin is not the thinnest we've seen, but it's not exactly the thickest either. Huawei's branding is imprinted on the "chin", while the company's branding lies on the back of the phone as well.

The Huawei Y7 2019 sports a rear-facing, capacitive fingerprint scanner, and you will also notice two cameras on the back of this phone. Those two cameras protrude a bit, are vertically-aligned, and an LED flash is placed right below them. The phone's back side is flat, but the sides are curved. The power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons are located on the right-hand side of the device, while a 3.5mm headphone jack lies at the very top of the phone.

It comes with a large battery & dual camera setup

The Huawei Y7 2019 features a 6.26-inch HD+ (1520 x 720) Dewdrop display with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 450 64-bit octa-core processor, which is one of Qualcomm's best entry-level processors.

The phone includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while you can expand that storage via a microSD card up to 512GB. A 4,000mAh battery is also included in the package, and it is not removable, while the phone utilizes 5V/2A charging.

13-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture) and 2-megapixel cameras can be found on the back of this phone, while a single 8-megapixel camera is included on the device's front side. This phone supports Dual 4G connectivity, while it also comes with Bluetooth 4.2, and two SIM card slots.

Android 9 Pie is not included here, unfortunately, the Huawei Y7 2019 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.2 on top of it. The phone comes in three color variants, Aurora Blue, Coral Red, and Midnight Black. The phone is already available for purchase across Europe, and it is priced at €220. We do not have the information in which markets is it available exactly, but chances are it is available in pretty much every European market Huawei is officially active in.
As you can see, this is a budget phone with a budget price tag, and it definitely doesn't pack in a lot of power, but it may be a good option for those of you who are looking for a secondary phone, or are looking to get your kid its very first phone, as the phone is quite affordable compared to the rest of Huawei's lineup.
