Sony's newest mid-range smartphones, the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus are now available. These smartphones, unlike the high-end bunch, are not made of glass, but you are still going to want a case for these. That is because these smartphones are taller than most others, making them a bit tougher to hold onto, especially one handed. You'll also want some other accessories for these like a PopSocket so you can hold onto it.
We've rounded up the best accessories for both the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus smartphones, that you can buy. These are all available today, not up for pre-order.
AVIDET Clear Case - Xperia 10 Plus
The Xperia 10 Plus may not have the best design out there, but it is pretty unique. Some people may still want to show off the design of the Xperia 10 Plus and with this clear case from AVIDET, you'll be able too. It's a clear case with reinforced sides that will take impact, if the phone is dropped for some reason. Definitely a good thing for those that might be a bit clumsy.
This is a fully TPU case, so it's going to stay pretty lightweight and not add a lot of bulk to your smartphone, which is always a good thing.
You can pick up the AVIDET Clear Case for the Xperia 10 Plus from Amazon for about $8, using the link down below.
SCL Carbon Fiber Case - Xperia 10
SCL has a really good looking carbon fiber case for the Sony Xperia 10. Which is going to protect your entire Xperia 10. It does also have reinforced sides, which should give it some cushion if it does get dropped. This case also has a slight lip over the display, so that it will also protect the display if that is dropped at all.
With this having a carbon fiber feel on the back, it not only looks cool, but it also adds some texture. This texture makes it easier to hold onto the phone, so that it won't slip out of your hands.
You can pick up the SCL Carbon Fiber case for the Xperia 10 from Amazon using the link below. It is currently priced at just $7.
PopSockets are great for taller phones like the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. These make it easier to hold onto your phone, so you don't risk dropping it. The PopSocket will fit between your fingers, making it almost impossible to drop the phone. PopSockets can also double as a stand for your phone. So if you are on a plane and want to watch a movie on your phone, you won't need to hold it in your hand the entire time - which can be rather annoying, to be honest.
This is something that every smartphone owner should have. You can place it on the back of your case, and it's going to be a life saver. Whether you are not used to handling larger phones, or taller phones, or just want a way to prop up your phone to watch a movie, this is the route to go. And for its price, it can't be beat.
These are available in all sorts of colors and patterns. PopSockets start at $9.99 and go up from there. They are definitely worth the price, and while they do add some bulk to the back of your phone, it is definitely a nice accessory to have. Especially on these larger phones. You can pick one up from Amazon using the link below.
AUKEY USB-C Charger
Sony does include a quick charge charger in the box with both the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. But it never hurts to have an extra one laying around. This USB-C charger from AUKEY is capable of Power Delivery or PD, which is actually safer than Quick Charge over USB-A. It's also pretty small, so it's great to keep in your bag when traveling, or to have at the office.
This wall charger is capable of doing around 18W for USB-C PD, which is going to be plenty fast for most smartphones. It won't be fast enough for charging laptops and possible tablets though. As those usually need 30W (closer to 60W for laptops), to actually charge. Especially if you are using them.
You can pick up this USB-C wall charger from AUKEY for just $17 and it's available from Amazon using the link below.
Anker has its own line of USB-C to USB-C cables, which are currently available and a really great cable for the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. They will also work out well with the USB-C charger that we listed above.
The Anker PowerLine+ cables are great because they are plenty long, coming in at about six-feet, and they are also braided. This means that they are going to be a lot more durable than some of the other cables on the market. You won't need to worry about them getting bent, as it can withstand more bends than the normal plastic coated USB-C cables.
You can pick up this Anker PowerLine+ cable from Amazon in black, red or white colors. It is available for just $16. Which might seem pricey for a cable, but this is one that you likely will never need to replace.
RAVPower 24W 4.8A Dual-USB Car Adapter
RAVPower has a dual-port car charger here, that will do 2.4A out of each port, and make it great for charging your smartphone while you're driving. This car charger is also pretty small, which is a bit surprising, given the charging speeds that it offers. It's not quite as small as the ones from AUKEY though, which fit flush.
This car charger does 4.8A or 2.4A each. That's about the same speed as Quick Charge 2.0, but slower than Quick Charge 3.0. It uses RAVPower's proprietary iSmart+ technology which will automatically charge your phone at the fastest speed possible, without damaging the phone. That way when you get to your destination, you're going to have a fully charged battery. Something everyone can appreciate.
You can pick up this RAVPower dual-port USB car charger from Amazon using the link below. It is currently priced at $6.99 which is an absolute steal.
Sony CH700N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones
Both the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus have headphone jacks, but that doesn't mean you can't embrace the wireless future. The Sony CH700N Wireless Headphones are a great purchase to go with either of these smartphones.
The CH700N are a pair of more inexpensive noise cancelling headphones from Sony. These do offer some great noise cancellation, and some great sound quality. The only real difference here is that there is no EXTRA BASS support. Meaning that you won't be getting that deep bass that you may experience on some other headphones on the market. Battery life is also pretty good, coming in at around 35 hours.
You can pick up the Sony CH700N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones from Amazon using the link below, for just $79.95.
Samsung EVO Select 128GB Micro SD Card
Sony has equipped the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus with 64GB of internal storage. But sometimes, that is not enough space. So a micro SD card is going to be a great option for those that need some extra space. And this Samsung micro SD card is a great option. For about $20, you can basically triple your storage on your smartphone.
Remember that with a micro SD card, you won't be able to store all of your apps and games on it, but you can store your pictures, videos and such on that micro SD card. So if you are one that keeps a lot of music available offline, this is going to be a really good option. Or, if you are one that takes a lot of photos or shoots a lot of video, this will also be a good option.
You can pick up the Samsung EVO Select 128GB Micro SD Card from Amazon using the link below, for just $20.
The Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus smartphones are some of the best looking and best specced mid-range smartphones released in 2019 so far, so it's no surprise that these are going to be popular smartphones. These both offer the 21:9 aspect ratio displays that Sony is trying to make popular. Sony also gave both of these metal backsides, which makes them a bit more durable than a glass backed Xperia 1. But you're still going to want a case for these smartphones, as well as a few other accessories.
Whether you're looking for a better way to hold onto the Xperia 10 or a way to charge it while you're in the car, this list has everything for you. From car chargers, to wall chargers, to USB-C cables and everything in between. The PopSockets also listed here is something that every smartphone owner should have. It really makes a huge difference, especially for those that do have smaller hands, and are not used to holding onto larger phones. With the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus being much taller, that is going to be an issue with these phones.
