Best Samsung Galaxy S10+ Cases You Can Buy – March 2019

galaxy s10 cases AH

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is finally official, and is up for pre-order with a launch date of March 8. It’s the biggest phone of the year so far, literally. And where Samsung did go virtually all screen on the Galaxy S10+, it means you are definitely going to want a case. There are a ton of cases out there for the Galaxy S10+, but which cases are the best for this new smartphone? Well, we’ve rounded up the very best that are currently available. These range from all sorts of price points too. So no matter how much you are looking to spend, there’s something here for you.

These are all cases that are currently available, not on pre-order.

ESR Essential Zero Slim Clear Soft TPU Case

The Galaxy S10+ has a really good looking design, and when you put a case on it, the design is pretty much hidden. Unless you get a clear case. This case from ESR is a really good option, as far as clear cases go.

The Essential Zero Slim case from ESR, is a slim TPU case, that is also a soft one. This means that it is going to add some grip to your Galaxy S10+, making it easier to hold onto. Since this is a glass phone, it’s already going to be tough to hold onto. So adding some grip is definitely a good thing to have. The corners are reinforced on this case, so that when the Galaxy S10+ is dropped, it will take the impact, instead of the phone taking all the impact. Since you are buying a case to protect it anyways, this is a good thing.

You can pick up the ESR Essential Zero Slim Case from Amazon for just $11.99 – right now there is a $2 off coupon that you can clip and get it for under $10 – from the link below.

Those that are a bit clumsy, or known for dropping their phones a lot, will want to get the OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES Case. It is a very thick case, but it offers a lot of protection, from every single angle. This one does not come with a screen protector, that is the DEFENDER SERIES that OtterBox has, and costs about $20 more.

Many don’t like OtterBox’s cases because they are so thick. But if you have ever dropped your phone inside an OtterBox onto concrete, you’ll appreciate the thickness of this case. That is because it will take all of the damage, compared to the phone taking it. Which is a much better thing.

The OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES Case does come in a few different colors. Including black, blue, and pink. You can pick up this case from Amazon using the link below, it’s priced at $39.99 right now.

Spigen Tough Armor

For those that want something that is a bit slimmer, but still offer some good protection, the Spigen Tough Armor is a good option. This is a slimline case from the company, that is still a dual-layer case. There’s a soft skin that goes against the phone, and then a hard case that goes on the outside to absorb impact when/if the phone is ever dropped.

Not only does this provide some great protection, but it also looks pretty nice. It comes in all black, so it doesn’t stand out like some other cases out there. It also has a wide enough cut out for the camera so that the ultra-wide angle camera is not affected.

You can pick up the Spigen Tough Armor from Amazon right now for just $15.99, from the link below. It does come in a few different colors (the inside is still black, but the hard case is in different colors. This includes black, pink, gunmetal and graphite gray.

Caseology Parallax

This is one of the more interesting cases on this list. This is a TPU case with a metal frame that goes over-top, to keep the case on your phone. But it also has a rather interesting pattern on the backside, which does well to provide some grip for your smartphone. Seeing as the Galaxy S10+ does have a glass backside, adding  grip is a big deal.

The Caseology Parallax won’t add a whole lot of bulk to your smartphone, and given how large the Galaxy S10+ already is, that is definitely a big thing. It’s made of TPU, so it is already lightweight, and won’t look too bad after a few months of use, like some other “cheaper” cases on the market today.

Caseology offers the Parallax in just one color, which is black. That should be fine for everyone, no matter which color Galaxy S10+ you did pick up. You can grab it from Amazon using the link below, for just $13.99.

X-Doria Defense Shield Series

If you are clumsy, but still want to show off the design of the Galaxy S10+, then this is a really good case to pick up. It has a clear backside, but it also has a rather thick bumper around the Galaxy S10+, which is going to be able to absorb impact if the phone is dropped. Which is definitely a good thing if you are clumsy.

This isn’t the best looking case, but it does add some more protection than some of the others on this list, without adding a lot of bulk to the Galaxy S10+.

The X-Dora Defense Shield Series is a great case to pick up and it comes in three colors. Black, red and iridescent – the colors are the bumpers, the back is still clear. It is priced at just $29.95, and you can pick it up from Amazon using the link below.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid

Looking for something that is super thin? Then the Spigen Ultra Hybrid is going to be the best option for you. Spigen has fused together a bumper with a TPU case, giving us the hybrid of that, which makes for a pretty interesting case, that looks great and does add some protection for your Galaxy S10+.

Don’t expect the Spigen Ultra Hybrid to give as much protection as something like the X-Doria Defense Shield Series or the OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES cases, but if the phone slips out of your hands, it will still protect it and keep it from actually shattering the display or the backside.

Spigen offers the Ultra Hybrid in two colors: Matte Black and Crystal Clear. You can pick it up from Amazon using the link below for just $13.99.

Caseology Waterfall

Rounding out the list, is another clear case. This time from Caseology. The Caseology Waterfall is a really good looking clear case from the company, which is completely clear. The “bumper” is a bit thicker. Again, this is so that it can absorb impact when the phone is dropped. Seeing as you would rather the case take all the damage, then your brand new Galaxy S10+ which you paid $999 for.

This case from Caseology will look really good on any of the new prism colors that Samsung announced for the Galaxy S10+. It’s ultra thin, so you won’t need to worry about it not working with wireless charging pads and stands.

You can pick up the Caseology Waterfall case from Amazon using the link below. It is only available as a clear case, and it is priced at $12.99. That price may fluctuate once the Galaxy S10+ is available on March 8 though.

Wrap Up

With smartphones being all glass these days, and some working with ceramic, getting a case for them has never been more important. Luckily, there are a ton of cases available for just about every phone that is released. The Galaxy S10 lineup has a lot more than most, since it is a much more popular phone than say the new LG G8 ThinQ. That means there’s a lot more choices for you to choose from. Whether that is a clear case, a rugged case, or even just a thin case that is still pretty protective. There is something for everyone, when it comes to the Galaxy S100+ and its cases.

All of these cases, with the exception of the OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES and the X-Doria Defender Shield Case, are all compatible with wireless charging, because they aren’t too thick. The other two are much thicker and won’t work with wireless charging. If you are looking for something that will still work with your wireless charger, then there are still plenty of options here, which is always good to see.

If you are looking for a case for your Galaxy S10+, there’s plenty to choose from. It’s a good idea to order your case before your phone arrives, so you can put the phone into a case as soon as it arrives and not worry about dropping it on the first day and shattering that display. We’ve all seen those YouTube videos of people waiting in line for a phone, and then buying it only to drop it as soon as they take it out of the box. Don’t be like them.
