Best Motorola Moto G7 Cases You Can Buy - March 2019

The Motorola Moto G7 is the latest mid-range smartphone from the company, and it still shows that you really don't need to spend a thousand bucks on a new smartphone. The Moto G7 is just $299 and has many of the same features as more expensive smartphones. Which is what has made the Moto G lineup so popular over the past seven years. Now that the Moto G7 is available, it's time to talk about the best cases for the Motorola's newest smartphone.

We've rounded up the best Moto G7 cases that are currently available. These will range in different styles and prices. If you haven't already purchases a Moto G7, you can pick one up from Amazon here.

Slinco Flexible Soft TPU Case

Slinco has a really good looking TPU case for the Moto G7. This is a somewhat thin case, that will protect the Moto G7 pretty easily. It also adds some grip to the back of the phone, since it does have a rigid pattern. This makes it much easier to hold onto the Moto G7. Since this is a glass smartphone, that's actually a pretty big deal.

The only downside to this case, is the fact that it does not cover the front of the phone. There's no lip over the display to protect the display if the phone is dropped. So you're going to want to be extra careful here.

You can pick up the Slinco Flexible Soft TPU Case from Amazon for just $7.99 right now, using the link below.

SKTGSLAMY Ultra Slim TPU Case

If you are wanting to protect your Moto G7 without adding a lot of bulk to your smartphone, then this is the case to get. It's a very slim TPU case for the Moto G7 that will protect the back and sides, but unfortunately not the front. Like the case above, it does not have a lip to cover the screen in case the phone does get dropped.

The back does have a brushed aluminum look, with some carbon fiber up at the top of the phone. Giving it a really nice look, and of course some texture. Since this is a glass smartphone in the first place, getting some texture is going to be a good thing. Making it harder for it to slip out of your hands.

You can pick up the SKTGSLAMY Ultra Slim TPU Case from Amazon for just $3.89 using the link down below.

Zenic Heavy Duty Shockproof Full-Body Protective Hybrid Case

Those that are a bit clumsy, are going to want to take a look at this case from Zenic. It's a full-body case, with a rugged body. This is going to allow the case to protect the Moto G7 completely. Allowing you to not have to worry about dropping your Moto G7 ever again. Even if you do drop your phone, the Zenic case is going to be able to handle all of the damage, with ease.

It should go without saying, but this is a pretty thick case for the Moto G7. So this isn't going to be the one that everyone is going to want to pick up, but it does do its job pretty well. If you are prone to shattering your phones, then you are going to want to get this one as an insurance policy for the Moto G7.

You can pick up the Zenic Heavy Duty Shockproof Full-Body Protective Hybrid Case from Amazon for just $9.75 with the link below.

Cimo Armor Case

This is the best of both worlds, basically. This is a slightly rugged case for the Moto G7, without being super thick. Meaning that you can put this onto your Moto G7 and not worry about it being a lot thicker and more bulky than it already is.

Cimo Armor has a rugged outer shell which is going to be able to take the impact when the phone is dropped, versus the Moto G7 taking all of the impact, which is the whole reason for getting a case in the first place. This one does also have a lip to go over the display and protect it, if it does get dropped. Which is also a big deal.

You can grab the Cimo Armor case for the Moto G7 from Amazon using the link below, right now it is priced at $7.98.

SPARIN Soft Nature TPU Case

Clear cases have become pretty popular in the last few years, and SPARIN has a really good looking clear TPU case available for the Moto G7. This is a great option for a lot of people, as they can still show off the design of the Moto G7, but also keep the phone nice and protected, which is what matters the most these days.

SPARIN did raise the bezels on this case, by about one millimeter, which will protect the display if the phone is dropped. This is a good thing, seeing as the front of the phone is almost all bezel, with a pretty small chin and notch at the top. Finally, this is a very lightweight and thin case, so you won't need to worry about the phone getting too thick or bulky with this case on it.

You can pick up the SPARIN Soft Nature TPU Case from Amazon using the link down below, it is currently priced at $8.99, making it a very inexpensive case to use.

LuckyMi Dual-Layer Hybrid Case

LuckyMi has a really good looking hybrid case for the Moto G7. This is a dual-layer case that is comprised of a soft inner layer that will keep your phone from being scratched or damaged, and then a hard outer-layer. The outer-layer is made of polycarbonate, making it a really durable case and it can also take plenty of damage, should it need too.

There is also some grip added to either side of the case, so that it makes it much easier to hold onto the Moto G7, without it slipping out of your hand. As the last thing anyone would want is for their brand new smartphone to slip out of their hand and shatter all over the ground. LuckyMi does offer this case in a few different colors. The inner case is always black, but the outer polycarbonate case does change colors. It does include blue, white, gold, dark cyan and pink.

You can pick up the LuckyMi Dual-Layer Hybrid Case from Amazon using the link below. It is currently priced at $8.98.

Olixar Armour Case

Here's one more rugged case, to keep your Moto G7 nice and protected.

The Olixar Armour Case is not a dual-layer case like the last one, though it does look very similar to it. This is a thicker case, that does offer even more protection. Think of an OtterBox case, but with a lower price tag, that's what you're getting here, essentially. It does have some thicker sides, this is to increase the shock absorption that the case can take, if the phone is dropped - which we hope never happens, but just in case it does.

The Amazon listing does say that it supports wireless charging, however, the Moto G7 itself does not support wireless charging. It's good to see that it's not too thick for wireless charging, but unfortunately Motorola is still not adding wireless charging to its smartphones.

You can pick up the Olixar Armour Case from Amazon using the link down below, right now it is sitting at a price of just $19.99. Not a bad price for those that want to keep their phone protected.

Wrap Up

The Moto G7 is not the most prettiest smartphone on the market in 2019. That might go to something like the Galaxy S10 right now. However, the Moto G7 is about a third the price. The Moto G7 does still have that glass back though, with an almost all-screen front, which is going to make it tougher to keep the phone from getting scratched, cracked or shattered. All of which are things that will likely happen when it is dropped. Of course, we hope that doesn't happen, but it is a very real possibility.

This is why, putting the Moto G7 into a case is a big deal, and why you should add a case to your smartphone. The cases that are listed above are all really good options, many of which are under $10 - with one being as low as $4. For that price, it's hard to pass up, especially since a case is going to be much cheaper than buying a new phone or having to replace the screen or something of the sort. The screen is the most expensive part of any phone to have replaced.

The TPU cases are really good options for a lot of people, since they aren't overly thick, but do add some protection for the Moto G7. Those that are a bit more clumsy or drop their phones a lot, are going to want to get the more rugged cases on this list. All of them are great options.
