The Ulefone Power 5S is one of the company’s big battery smartphones, and Ulefone wanted to prove that it can serve as a great GPS device by releasing a new promo video. The Ulefone Power 5S’ huge 13,000mAh battery is one of its main selling points, and in case you don’t have a car charger, or simply hate cables inside your car, this phone can be a great navigation device.
If you check out the video which is embedded down below, and has a duration of around 24 seconds, you will see the Power 5S in action. Ulefone uses Google Maps in order to demonstrate how accurate the Power 5S is when it comes to navigation, thanks to its GPS chip, and it even compared it to the in-car navigation system, briefly.
The Ulefone Power 5S is not only a big battery smartphone, but it’s also quite rugged, it definitely looks like it can be dropped without a problem. The device is made mostly out of metal, while it features two vertically-aligned cameras on the back. Its bezels are not the thinnest out there, but that is not surprising considering its battery size and targeted audience… and of course, its price tag.
This phone comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner, while it also supports facial scanning, in case you were wondering. The device is fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, and it ships with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The phone supports both 5V/5A fast charging, and wireless charging, which is not that common when it comes to such devices.
The Ulefone Power 5S features a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage (expandable via microSD card up to 256GB). On the back of the phone, you will find 21 and 5-megapixel cameras, while 8-megapixel (interpolated to 13 megapixels) and 5-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the device.
The Ulefone Power 5S comes with two SIM card slots, and we’re looking at a hybrid setup here, you can either utilize nano SIM cards in both slots, or use one of the slots to expand the phone’s storage, in addition to using one SIM card. The device supports 4G LTE (FDD-LTE), and it comes with Bluetooth 4.1.
If you’d like to purchase the phone, you can do so via AliExpress for $194.99. Speaking of Ulefone's phones, the company's Armor 6 handset is currently discounted, so if you're interested in that one perhaps, you can find out more via the link down below.
