Sprint will also be selling the Galaxy S10 series, with pre-orders opening tomorrow. The three devices will then be available starting on March 8, when the Galaxy S10 series launches worldwide.
Sprint will be selling the Galaxy S10e for $749, the Galaxy S10 for $899 and the Galaxy S10+ for $999. The same price as other carriers and retailers. With the Sprint Flex Lease, you can get the Galaxy S10 family for a bit cheaper. The Galaxy S10e will be $31.25 per month, with the Galaxy S10 at $37.50 per month and the Galaxy S10+ at $41.67 per month. It's not any cheaper or more expensive, it's the same price, just spread out over 24 months. There is no down payment on any of these. But as usual, you will need to pay the applicable taxes up-front.
There are some freebies with the Galaxy S10 family this time around. Sprint isn't doing any of its own, just honoring Samsung's freebies. Which do include up to a $550 credit for trading in your current device. As always, this is going to depend on the device that you are trading in. On top of that, anyone that pre-orders before March 7, will get a pair of the new Galaxy Buds for free. These new earbuds can charge by sitting on the back of your Galaxy S10, which is a pretty neat feature.
The Galaxy S10e is the slightly smaller smartphone from Samsung. It is essentially the company's iPhone Xr, with a lower price tag but still a flagship device. It sports the same Snapdragon 855 chipset as the other two, and up to 8GB of RAM. It also has 128GB of storage available. The big difference is the fact that this is going to sport a flat display, instead of a curved one. So if you've been looking to get your hands on a smartphone without a curved display, this is the one to get.
Meanwhile the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ add another camera, larger batteries and larger curved displays. The Galaxy S10 sports a 6.1-inch display with a 3400mAh capacity battery, while the Galaxy S10+ has a 6.4-inch display and a larger 4100mAh capacity battery. Both smartphones add a third lens, compared to the Galaxy S10e, which add a telephoto lens to the already included "wide" and ultra-wide angle cameras.
The three Galaxy S10 smartphones are going to be available in four colors. These include Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism White and Flamingo Pink. As mentioned, they will be available beginning March 8. Pre-orders are expected to ship a day or two before that, so that customers can have them in their hands on March 8 when the devices all launch worldwide.
Additionally, Sprint did also mention that the Galaxy S10e is going to be coming to Boost Mobile. It will only be available in Prism White, and it will also be full price, since Boost Mobile is a no-contract carrier. Unfortunately, the more expensive Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ won't be making their way over to Boost Mobile, nor will the other colors of the Galaxy S10e.
