Samsung.com is currently dropping $50 off of the regular price of the Galaxy Watch. Dropping the 42mm model to $279 and the 46mm model to $299. This is part of the company's Valentine's Day sale, so this price won't last long, and you'll want to grab it before it's gone.
The Galaxy Watch will work with Android and iOS devices. It runs on Tizen, so it doesn't use Android apps. Samsung has a number of apps available for the Galaxy Watch, but this wearable isn't as app-driven as some other smartwatches out there. It will give you notifications on your wrist, and you can also take action on them from your wrist. Which includes being able to reply to messages.
Samsung also made the Galaxy Watch as a fitness tracker, so you can track all of your activity, through the Samsung Health app - also available on Android and iOS. It is also waterproof now, so that you can take it into the pool and use it to track your swimming, which is a pretty cool feature to have available.
The Galaxy Watch would make a really great gift for Valentine's Day this year, and for $279, you can get a rose gold one and win the holiday. You can pick up the Galaxy Watch from Samsung's website using the link below.
