Official Galaxy S10 Accessories Not As Unique As Next Samsung Flagship

A large number of seemingly official renders depicting various Samsung case designs and colors for the upcoming Galaxy S10 series was obtained recently by tech blog Droid Shout. The leak also contains a list clarifying what accessories will be reserved for which Galaxy S10 model, and further suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch will be released in four colors including black, silver, green, and rose gold, while the Galaxy Buds wireless earphones will come in black, white, and yellow.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series has been leaked numerous times already, and on many occasions, the leaks came in the form of either third-party renders or dummy units used by third-party case manufacturers to create their product according to official specifications. This time, however, the latest image gallery to hit the Internet ahead of the Unpacked event seemingly contains official renders. Unsurprisingly, the showcased accessories appear to be more of the same compared to last year and the year before.

The range of cases and covers for the three upcoming Samsung flagships is quite generous. It includes Clear and Silicone covers, LED and LED View covers, screen protectors for all three models, as well as Leather covers. All of these accessories –except for the screen protector and transparent covers – will be available in a variety of colors including Black, White, Silver, Green, Berry Pink, Blue, Navy, Yellow, and Red. Evidently, the shades will differ depending on the materials used, and not every color will be available for every accessory – see the list embedded in the image gallery below for more information.

Samsung previously launched the Gear IconX wireless earbuds in more than just black and white, including flavors like blue and pink, but apparently, this year will be the first time the wearable will be available in yellow. The added color will also mark the rebranding of Samsung’s wireless earphones as they will be known as the Galaxy Buds moving forward.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series itself is expected to launch in a variety of color options regardless of accessories, but once again certain flavors will be reserved for some models. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S10e is the only model which might be released in Canary Yellow, while another leak earlier this month suggested that the color red could become available for the Samsung Galaxy S10 in a limited-edition anime variant.

The OEM’s upcoming smartphones and wearables including the aforementioned earbuds and the freshly redesigned Samsung Galaxy Watch Active are all expected to be unveiled on the same day – February 20 – and they should become available for pre-order moments after the official announcement. The products should then remain available for pre-order for roughly two weeks before finally hitting the shelves in mid-March.

Samsung could also prepare pre-order bonuses for various markets, with bundles that may include some of the accessories seen in the image gallery below. Another rumor circulated last week suggesting that the flagship series could be bundled with the Galaxy Buds as a pre-order bonus in Russia, and possibly other regions, but only time will tell if Samsung will be this generous or aggressive in its marketing this year.
