Amazon is currently dropping the Nokia 7.1 to just $299. Making this a $50 discount and the first time that the Nokia 7.1 has been discounted since it launched last fall.
The Nokia 7.1 is a mid-range smartphone from HMD Global - the home of Nokia phones. It sports a 5.84-inch full HD+ display, which means that it does have a notch up at the top. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (there is also a 3GB/32GB model available, but it is not available in the US). And that is all powered by a 3060mAh capacity battery.
With the Nokia 7.1, you are getting a stock version of Android, so you are able to get the latest and greatest version from Google as soon as it's available. This is an Android One smartphone, so it is basically stock Android, with the only real changes being to the camera. Nokia has been very good at getting updates out to its smartphones, within weeks of them being available (versus months for others like Samsung and LG). It is also keeping to its promise of updating phones for two years or longer.
