The Best Qi Wireless Chargers You Can Buy - February 2019

With most smartphones having Qi Wireless charging support built-in, many are looking to find a wireless charger that they can add to their home and/or office. There are a ton of wireless chargers out there, but how do you know which is the best wireless charger to pick up? There are a lot of things to look at. Whether it's a fast wireless charger or not, whether it's a stand or a charging pad, just to name a few. Luckily, we've found the best wireless chargers that are currently available.

As always, we have listed only wireless chargers that are in-stock and available - at the time of publishing. So these are literally the best you can literally buy right now.

Anker Wireless Charger

Anker wasn't to creative with a name for this one, but this is a charging stand that is pretty inexpensive. It does not support fast wireless charging unfortunately, so you are stuck with the traditional 5W charging speed.

This charging stand has two coils inside, which means no matter how big your smartphone is, it will still be charged completely with this wireless charger. Anker also has a LED light at the bottom to indicate that the charger is getting power, as well as whether it is charging your phone or not.

The Anker Wireless Charger is currently priced at $21.99 which is a pretty good price for this wireless charger. And you can pick it up from Amazon using the link below.

Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Stand 10W

The Belkin Boost Up is a pretty cool looking wireless stand, and unlike some others, it actually has a bar on the sides as well to keep your phone in place. So that it does not slide off overnight and end up not getting a full charge. It does come in white and black - technically pink too, but that's the pad version.

This charger will do up to 10W of power, so that you can get fast wireless charging for Samsung smartphones as well as Apple's iPhones. Google has not opened the Pixel 3 up to use fast charging on devices other than the Pixel Stand. So you're out of luck for fast wireless charging on the Pixel 3, for now.

Belkin made sure that this was a pretty versatile wireless charger, allowing you to charge your phone in both landscape and portrait mode.

The Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Stand 10W is available from Amazon for $63.00, which is a pretty high price for a fast wireless charger, but it might be worth it for those that want a fast wireless charging stand. You can pick it up from the link below.

Samsung Convertible Qi Wireless Charging Pad/Stand

This wireless charger is rather unique. As it can convert from a wireless charging pad to a stand, so no matter which style you want, Samsung has you covered here. This does also support fast wireless charging for Samsung and Apple's smartphones. For Samsung smartphones it will do up to 10W and that is supported on its flagships.

Being a convertible wireless charger is pretty cool. You can use it as a stand on your bedside table, or decide to use it as a pad on your desk, all with one charging pad. It actually looks really nice too, with a rather understated design, and also sporting a lip at the bottom to keep the phone on the charging stand.

This uses the Adaptive Fast Charging wall charger that comes in the box with your Samsung smartphone, so you can easily unplug the wireless charger and plug it into your smartphone if you do need some juice quicker than a wireless charger would provide it.

You can pick up the Samsung Convertible Qi Wireless Charging pad/Stand from Amazon for $49, through the link below.

iOttie iON Wireless Mini Fast Charger

If you are looking for something that looks rather cool, look no further than the iOttie iON Wireless Mini Fast Charger. This thing is pretty small, but looks incredible. This is a small charger that is wrapped in fabric. This helps keep the charger and your phone cooler, while also looking... well cooler.

iOttie offers this wireless charger in four colors: charcoal, ivory, ruby and ash.

This wireless charger is a fast wireless charger and will charge at up to 10W. Which means, once again, it will support Apple and Samsung's smartphones. Others won't be supported either because they don't support fast wireless charging or because they haven't opened up their phones for it - like Google.

You can pick up the iOttie iON Wireless Mini Fast Charger from Amazon for around $$39.95. Which puts it right in line with some of the other wireless chargers on this list. You can pick it up from Amazon using the link below.

AUKEY Graphite Lite Q 10W Wireless Fast Charger

AUKEY has, what might be the best looking wireless charger on this list. In fact, it won a few design awards for its design. It's a pretty tame design, all things considered. But it does look pretty clean. This is a flat charging pad, with a soft touch feel on the top. This is there to keep your smartphone in place while it is charging, and so it doesn't slide off.

With this wireless charger, AUKEY did include a LED light on the border, which will indicate whether your phone is charging and whether it is fully charged. This is a great way to make sure that your phone is fully charged, instead of having to pick up your phone and seeing how full the charge is.

This one supports 10W, 7.5W and 5W. So it will do the full fast charging for Samsung smartphones, as well as fast for iPhones at 7.5W. While everyone else can get the plain old 5W wireless charger, which does seem a bit slow at this point.

You can pick up the AUKEY Graphite Lite Q 10W Wireless Fast Charger from Amazon for just $16.99, making it one of the most affordable fast wireless chargers on this list. And it is available through the link below.

Anker PowerWave Pad

The Anker PowerWave Pad is another pretty impressive wireless charger from Anker. This is a charging pad, so it's not the same as the other one from Anker on this list. It's a pretty nice looking, black pad that you can set your phone onto and have it start charging immediately.

Anker made sure that this one supported fast wireless charging at up to 10W, and is of course backwards compatible with other smartphones that don't support fast wireless charging, like the LG V40 ThinQ or the Google Pixel 3 XL.

Like most other charging pads on this list, this is also a case-friendly charger. So you can place your Galaxy Note9 down on the charging pad and have it start charging, even though the case. This doesn't mean all cases will work though. But for the most part they will, unless you have a very bulky case, like an OtterBox case. Then it won't work.

The Anker PowerWave Pad is a pretty cheap fast wireless charger, coming in at $12. However there is a "gotcha" here. There is no wall charger included, you will need to provide your own. That isn't normally an issue, however you will need to use a Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger with this one, so that it can get enough juice to do fast wireless charging.

You can pick up the Anker PowerWave Pad from Amazon for $12 using the link down below.

Wrap Up

Wireless chargers are meant to be convenient. Allowing you to just simply place your smartphone down on the pad and voila it starts charging. And that is how it works. But now that we have much faster charging over USB and now USB-C PD, it's not as popular as many thought it might be. But for charging overnight, wireless charging is still pretty great. As you can place it down on the pad and it'll charge overnight. Since you are sleeping, it's not a big deal if it takes a bit longer to charge than you'd like. As long as it's at 100-percent when you wake up.

The wireless chargers on this list are all really great options to pick up. Obviously some are more expensive than others, but this mostly comes down to the brand name and the design. Belkin is the most expensive due to its name, but also the design of that wireless charger. While it looks pretty simple, it is actually a cool design compared to the others on the list. Samsung's convertible wireless charger is perhaps the coolest, hands-down on this list. Since it can act as both a charging stand and a charging pad. You can't go wrong with any of the options on this list.
