LG Drops The Prices Of Its Most Popular OLED TVs In Time For Super Bowl LIII

LG has announced that it is dropping the price of its popular OLED TV B8 Series, just in time for the big game on February 3.

As part of this sale, the 55-inch B8 model will be dropping to $1499, down from $2299. The larger 65-inch model will be dropping to $2299, that's down from $3299. These are all-time lows for these OLED TVs, dropping lower than they were during the holiday season.

LG's OLED TVs are some of the best TVs on the market, solely due to the fact that it sports an OLED display. With OLED, you can expect deeper blacks, as well as richer colors. LG has also included Dolby Vision here, which will allow you to experience an even better picture on this 4K TV. With more and more content supporting Dolby Vision – particularly on Netflix, you will really notice the difference on these new OLED TVs.

While LG does not use Android TV on its TVs, it does include both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing the user to use their favorite personal assistant to control the TV – and also control their smart home products through the ThinQ platform.

webOS is running the show on these OLED TVs from LG, which is perfectly fine. webOS has a number of apps available – including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and much more. On top of that, it also offers a pretty easy-to-use interface. Making it much easier to learn how to navigate the smart TV and find what you want to watch all at the same time.

The main difference between the B8 and C8 models here is the fact that the B8 sports a slightly older processor. Though, truth be told, you will likely not even notice the difference on your TV, unless you have both models side-by-side. The B8 still offers a really crisp and clear picture, with some very rich colors. Currently, LG is not discounting the C8 series, though it might see a discount closer to the big game in early February.
