OUKITEL WP1 Battery Consumption Test Is Here: Video

OUKITEL has submitted its WP1 smartphone to a new power consumption test. The company has filmed this whole test, and published the results in a form of a YouTube video, as per usual. You can find that YouTube video down below, as it is embedded, and it has a duration of around three minutes. Before we begin, however, it is worth noting that the OUKITEL WP1 comes with a rather large 5,000mAh battery, which can offer a really great battery life in combination with the phone’s internals and software.

The company has kicked off this test by streaming some music online for an hour, and after that time passed, the phone has 91-percent of battery left. The second test included making an online phone call, and talking with the person on the other end of the line for an hour. After that time passed, the phone had 79-percent of battery left, which means it consumed only 12-percent of battery during the second test. Now, if online gaming is your thing, well, the third battery test includes an hour of playing an online game, a 3D game that is, and after that hour passed, the phone had 63-percent of battery left. If you’re keeping score, that’s three hours of active usage, and the phone still has 63-percent of battery left. The fourth test includes watching a movie, once again, online. This test ran for an hour and a half, and the phone still had 44-percent of battery left, which gives you a good idea as to how much abuse this phone can take.

The OUKITEL WP1 is a rugged smartphone, but a rugged smartphone which is made out of metal and glass, and which supports wireless charging. This smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD+ display, while it is fueled by MediaTek’s 64-bit octa-core processor. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, while it is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The device includes 64GB of storage, while you will find a fingerprint scanner on the back of this phone. If you’d like to purchase this smartphone, you can do so for only $159.99, as the phone is currently discounted, and the purchase link is included down below.
