Motorola is discounting some of its most popular smartphones right now, but it is only good through November 11. The Moto G6 32GB capacity model is getting a $50 price drop bringing it to just $199, while the Moto G6 Play gets a pretty small discount of $6 off its regular price which brings it down to just $193.99. The Moto Z3 Play is also getting a discount, coming down $100 to just $399 – and the Moto Power Pack is still included in the box. The Moto Z2 Play is getting a whopping $200 off of its regular price, coming down to $299. And finally, the Moto X4 is dropping $120 off of its regular price, coming down to just $229.99 which is its all-time lowest price (by around $30!).
The Moto G6 smartphone from Motorola is the best mid-range smartphone you can buy right now, and at under $200, it makes this smartphone even better. The Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch full HD+ resolution display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage here. Motorola does have a micro SD card slot so that you can add more storage to the Moto G6, and it also supports Adoptable Storage, so you are able to store apps and games on the micro SD card. This is all powered by a 3000mAh battery capacity. The Moto G6 also has dual-cameras on the back. There's a main 12-megapixel sensor with a f/1.8 aperture that also has phase detection autofocus. The secondary sensor is a 5-megapixel sensor and is mainly only used for depth information. For $199, this is a really good smartphone to pick up. Now the Moto G6 Play is just a few bucks cheaper, but the only real reason to buy it is for that huge 4000mAh battery. It also has a 5.7-inch display, but its a HD+ resolution this time instead of full HD+. It is also being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is a micro SD card slot and it also supports Adoptable Storage, but for just $6 more, you can get much more smartphone in the Moto G6.
The Moto Z3 Play is what many would consider Motorola's flagship for 2018, even though there is the Moto Z3. That is because it sports newer specs, and a higher price. The Moto Z3 Play at $399, is an absolute steal though. It sports a 6-inch full HD+ resolution display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It does also support a micro SD card slot and Adoptable Storage like the rest of Motorola's smartphones. It is all powered by a 3000mAh capacity battery. But if that wasn't enough, Motorola has included the Moto Power Pack Mod in the box, so that the Moto Z3 Play's battery can last even longer on a single charge. Typically that would be sold for an additional $70 or so, and getting it in the box is a big deal. The Moto Z3 Play is available for $399 for a limited time.Moto Z3 Play - Motorola - $399
Also in the Moto Z lineup, we have the Moto Z2 on sale, which is now $299. That is also a really good price on this smartphone, it doesn't come with the Moto Power Pack Mod in the box, but it does have slightly better battery life than the Moto Z3 Play, primarily because it does have a slightly smaller display at 5.5-inches and full HD resolution. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 626 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. As is the case with all of the other smartphones on this list, it does also have a micro SD card slot and also supports Adoptable Storage for storing apps and games on the micro SD card. The Moto Z2 Play is fully unlocked and will work on all four US carriers as well.Moto Z2 Play - Motorola - $299
Finally, we have the Moto X4 which has dropped to an all-new, all-time low price of $229. This one is a bit older, having come out last fall, but it still holds up pretty well against 2018's smartphones. The Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch full HD resolution display, which makes it a great option for those that are looking to pick up a smaller smartphone, instead of one of the monstrous smartphones available today. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is a 4GB/64GB model available, but it is not on sale right now, unfortunately. This is all powered by a 3000mAh capacity battery that is definitely going to last all day long here. This also has a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 12-megapixel f/2.0 main sensor, and then a 8-megapixel secondary sensor for gathering depth data here. This is a really good smartphone to pick up, especially if you are looking for something smaller, and something that won't break the bank.
Motorola says that these smartphones are all available at this price through November 11 at 11:59PM, so if you are looking for a new smartphone, now is definitely the time to pick one up. All of these smartphones are compatible with all four US carriers. That includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon – as well as the MVNO's that run on those carrier's networks. On top of that, the Moto X4 and Moto G6 is also supported by Project Fi. So if you are a Project Fi customer, and don't want the new Pixel 3, then this is definitely a good time to get a new smartphone. All of these support Adoptable Storage, so while the internal storage might be a bit small on some, you can legitimately expand the storage on these, and add up to 400GB of storage, which is definitely nice to see, especially seeing as these are already pretty cheap. Though, 32GB of storage would likely be enough for everyone. Remember to take advantage of the prices on the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z2 Play and Moto X4 before Sunday, November 11 when they go back to their regular price.
