Amazon is currently discounting the iRobot Roomba 675, bringing the price down to just $248. That is good for around $21 off of its regular price, so it wasn't an expensive robot vacuum in the first place. But getting it discounted a bit further is always nice to see. This robot vacuum from iRobot is able to work with Amazon Alexa, and is likely the cheapest robot vacuum that has that feature. Which that alone makes this a great one to pick up right now.
The iRobot Roomba 675 is a great robot vacuum to pick up for a number of reasons. Not only does it work with Amazon Alexa, so you can use your voice to control this robot vacuum, but with the app you can also control it. This includes creating a schedule for it to clean when you want it too. On top of that, you can also have it spot clean within your home. So say your kids made a mess in the living room, you can have the Roomba go and clean up, and only clean the living room, where the mess is. Which can be a really useful feature. You can also set it to do edge cleaning, an area where vacuums usually have trouble vacuuming.
When it comes to cleaning, the Roomba 675 is pretty good due to the iAdapt navigation that it uses, and its 3-stage cleaning system. iAdapt will map out your home and allow the Roomba to know where everything is in your home. This way it won't fall down the stairs, or run into a wall, furniture or something else. And perhaps most importantly, it won't miss any spots in your home that also need to be cleaned. With its 3-stage cleaning system, it is able to get up all of the dirt out of the carpet in your home, including pet hair that might be tough to see. It has some pretty good suction, so it's great for pet owners as well. The Roomba 675 is going to run for around two hours of cleaning time and then it will head back to its charging station to charge up and be ready for the next time it needs to be ran. It's a really good option for a robot vacuum, especially considering the price.
This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. However, if you are in one of the select areas that has Prime Now, this is also available and you can get it within a couple of hours, if you are in desperate need. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. That includes Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, and even some benefits at Whole Foods.
