Best Robot Vacuum – the best of the best!
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the best robot vacuum currently on the market, for one big reason. It is able to empty its own dustbin while it is charging. This was announced a couple of months ago, and it is a pretty expensive robot vacuum, but being able to empty its own dustbin is actually a really big deal. It empties into a larger bin, which can take up to 30 full dustbins from the Roomba i7+ before it needs to be emptied. And it is emptied into a disposable bag, so you can just take the bag out to the garbage, and not worry about spilling it. Now of course, it does still have the 3-Stage Cleaning System and iAdapt navigation for cleaning and navigating your home. But the real stand out feature is the fact that it can empty its’ own dustbin here.iRobot Roomba i7+ - iRobot - $949
Best Value Robot Vacuum – pick up this vacuum without breaking the bank
iRobot’s Roomba 890 is a pretty high-end robot vacuum from iRobot, but not so high-end that it costs a fortune. It is actually priced (normally) under $500, which is still somewhat expensive, but not the most expensive. This robot vacuum sports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support, so you can use your voice to tell it to start cleaning. It also uses iRobot’s iAdapt for navigating around your home. This means that you won’t have to worry about it missing spots and such. It is also really good with suction, so it can get up all of the dirt and dust from the floors in your home.iRobot Roomba 890 - Amazon - $399
Best Everyday Robot Vacuum – this one will keep your home nice and clean
eufy’s RoboVac 11S is another great robot vacuum to pick up, since it is pretty inexpensive, at under $300. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles like the Roomba vacuums listed here. But it does a great job at keeping your home nice and clean. This one is also slimmer than most other robot vacuums, this is so that it can actually go under your furniture and not hit it. Additionally, this one does also work with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. eufy also provides a couple of replacement brushes with the RoboVac 11S, so when they start to get nasty or start fraying, you can replace them rather easily.eufy RoboVac 11S - Amazon - $169
Best Alexa-Enabled Robot Vacuum – best hands down
The Roomba 960 is a great robot vacuum for larger homes because it does a really great job at cleaning up and mapping out your home. So it’s not wasting time on re-vacuuming the same area over and over again. That makes this great for larger homes, as you can actually clean your entire home on one single charge, instead of needing it to recharge and start again. The Roomba 960 will run for around 90 to 100 minutes, and should be able to clean your home pretty nicely.iRobot Roomba 960 - Amazon - $549
Best Sub-$500 Robot Vacuum – cleaning up your home shouldn’t clean out your bank account
BLACK+DECKER isn’t a big name in the robot vacuum space just yet, but it will be soon. This is their HRV425B07 SMARTECH robot vacuum, that comes in under $500 and offers a pretty good package here. For starters, the dustbin is at the top of the vacuum, making it easier to reach and empty without spilling it. It is also a much larger dustbin and has an LED around it, allowing you to easily see how full (or empty) it really is. It will get rid of about 99.96-percent of pet dander and hair, so if you are allergic to pet hair, you won’t have to worry about it any longer. And it also has brushes that will keep the vacuum from getting tangled up in cords and other stuff.BLACK+DECKER SMARTECH Robot Vacuum - Amazon - $349
Best Sub-$300 Robot Vacuum – get a helping hand in cleaning, without spending a ton
ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S is from a company you may not have heard about, but you should. The N79S is a really great robot vacuum to pick up and use in your home. It’s inexpensive, at under $300, and closer to under $250, but it is able to clean up your home quite nicely, as well as map out your home so it can see where it needs to go. ECOVACS uses a S-shape pattern for cleaning around your home, this allows the vacuum to clean up everything, without leaving even the smallest area untouched. Definitely a good thing here as well. This one also works with Alexa, which makes it a really good option for those that want to use their voice to control it.ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S - Amazon - $199
Best Multi-purpose Robot Vacuum – not only cleans your carpets, but mops your floors!
The ECOVACS OZMO 601 is a pretty interesting robot vacuum from ECOVACS. It is not only a robot vacuum, but it can also mop your tile and hardwood floors. So instead of needing two robots for cleaning up your home, you can use this one to get it done. Now typically these hybrid robot vacuums will cut corners to be able to do both, but ECOVACS has not here. On the vacuuming side of things, it still has really good suction for getting up all of the pet hair, and on the mopping side, it will mop in a S-Shaped pattern so that it is able to clean everywhere and not miss any spots.ECOVACS OZMO 601 - Amazon - $179
Best Deep Cleaning Robot Vacuum – get all the dirt up, even the dirt you can’t see
One of the major issues with robot vacuums is that they leave dirt behind, or can’t get up all of the dirt due to its suction power. With the POWERbot 7070 from Samsung, that is not an issue. With CycloneForce, it is able to clean up and suck up all of the dirt out of your carpet in your home. That includes pet hair, which can really be a pain to get up and out of the carpet, especially if you or someone else in your home is allergic. It does also have built-in navigation, so that you can easily allow it to clean up without hitting any walls. With the app, you also have the ability to schedule when this robot vacuum will actually clean.Samsung POWERbot 7070 - Amazon - $499
Best “Pet” Robot Vacuum – get all of that pet hair out of the carpet, in a breeze
While the Samsung POWERbot 7070 is great for deep cleaning, this Neato D6 Connected Laser Robot Vacuum is great for getting rid of pet hair. If you have a few cats or dogs in your home, and you want to get all of their hair up before family and friends come over (that may be allergic to them), then this is a robot vacuum that will do just that. It has some deep suction to get it all up pretty easily. It is also a connected robot vacuum, so it will also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. Neato is using lasers on this one, so that it can see where the walls are, furniture and whatnot. Making it a really good option for those that are looking for a robot vacuum to clean up after their pets.Neato D6 - Amazon - $599
Best Robot Vacuum For Larger Homes – for those with more space and more people
Shark is already a leader in upright vacuums, and now they are here with a robot vacuum that can do all of the same tricks. The Shark ION Robot Vacuum is a really good option for a lot of people, especially those that have a lot of dirt they need cleaned up (maybe they have a few kids running around making a mess everyday). The Shark ION is able to last over an hour of cleaning, and it also has detangling technology. So no matter what it runs over, it won’t get tangled up. This is a really good thing considering robot vacuums do get tangled up in cords all to often. It has dual spinning brushes to help get everything up, as well as an easy-to-remove dust bin. Shark also works with Alexa, allowing you to use your voice to control the robot vacuum, which is also impressive.Shark ION Robot Vacuum - Amazon - $229
