Deal: iRobot Roomba 801 Robot Vacuum For $279 - Today Only

Amazon is discounting the iRobot Roomba 801 today, as part of its Gold Box Deal of the Day. Allowing you to pick up this robot vacuum for as low as $279. That is good for around $70 or 20-percent off of its regular price. This also brings it down to its all-time lowest price, and definitely worth picking up before the holidays.

The iRobot Roomba 801 is not one of the more high-end robot vacuums that the company sells. What this means is that you will only really miss a couple of features. And that is Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility. So instead of using your voice to tell the vacuum to clean, you'll need to use the app, or schedule a time for it to clean daily in the app. Otherwise, it will clean the exact same way as the other Roomba vacuums out there right now. The Roomba 801 can clean all floor types, as it will be able to auto-adjust the cleaning head automatically to the right height. Since it needs to be a bit lower for a hardwood floor versus carpet. It also includes the patented Aero Force 3-Stage Cleaning System, which will keep the brushes from getting tangled, and it can get up all of the dirt with its very powerful suction. It has about 5x the air power to pull all of the embedded dirt out of carpet, compared to the Roomba 600 and 700 series. iAdapt navigation is also here. This is going to essentially map out your home so that the Roomba knows where it needs to clean and where it has already cleaned. This is better than just having it clean in a random path, where it could miss spots, or even entire rooms. It includes intelligent sensors that will also keep the Roomba from running into walls, furniture, or even falling down a flight of stairs, which could be catastrophic. The Roomba 801 is a great robot vacuum to pick up, especially since it can help keep your home clean during the busy holiday season. Instead of needing to set aside time to vacuum your home, Roomba is able to do it and lend a helping hand. And that is always appreciated during the holidays.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. However, if you are in one of the select areas that has Prime Now, this is also available and you can get it within a couple of hours, if you are in desperate need. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. That includes Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, and even some benefits at Whole Foods.
