'Tasty' Cooking App Is Finally Available On Android

In Short: If you’re interested in cooking, there are quite a few cooking-related apps available in the Play Store, and BuzzFeed’s Tasty app reached the Play Store quite recently. The app is now in version 1.2.0, and it’s actually quite compelling. This application comes with over 3,000 Tasty recipes, a step-by-step instruction mode, and a ‘My Recipes’ pages where you can store any recipes you want, and essentially create your very own cookbook within the app. On top of all that, search is built into the app, so you can basically find whatever you want, and filter recipes by ingredients, cuisine, and social occasion, if you want. If you’re a vegetarian, you can personalize Tasty, and make the app share with you only recipes without meat, which can be quite handy. That’s not all though, if you’re not allowed to consume gluten, you can filter recipes that way, or make Tasty share with you recipes that are low carb only… it’s up to you.

Background: Many of you have probably heard of the ‘Tasty’ YouTube channel, and this is basically an app for it. Tasty’s YouTube channel currently stands at over 10 million subscribers, and an app for iOS has been available since July 2017, and received 9 million downloads since then. Well, the Tasty app for Android currently stands at over 100,000 downloads, and it holds a 4.5-star score on the Play Store, after almost 900 ratings. The app features a modern UI which puts focus on images, and recipes alone, so chances are not many people will have much to object when it comes to the design.

Impact: Tasty’s YouTube channel and brand is quite popular out there, and it definitely deserved a proper app, well, the app that is linked down below is quite compelling, so if you’re looking or a new cooking app, or maybe your very first one, it may worth trying out.
