Deal: Samsung EVO Select Micro SD Cards Starting At $14 - October 2018

Amazon is discounting the 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities of Samsung's EVO Select micro SD cards. The 16GB capacity is priced at $13.99, the 128GB capacity is $24.99 and the 256GB capacity is priced at $59.99. That actually brings these back down to all-time lows, and it makes it the perfect time to pick up a new micro SD card for your smartphone, or really any other device that uses a micro SD or SD card. That is because this does come with a SD card adapter, so you can still use these in a DSLR if you wanted too.

The Samsung EVO Select line of micro SD cards is a really good line of SD cards. These feature 100MB/s read and 60MB/s write speeds. While it's not the fastest write speeds in the industry right now, that is still more than fast enough to write 4K video to the card from your camera on your smartphone. Now it might not be fast enough to do 4K 60fps, but the good thing is, most smartphones that are capable of doing that kind of video, do not have a micro SD card slot. So that won't be an issue. These will work in virtually all of the devices out there, that includes action cameras like the new GoPro Hero7, as well as smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9+, LG V40 ThinQ, HTC U12+ and many more. Unfortunately, the Pixel 3 does not have a micro SD card slot, so it will not work with the new Pixel smartphones. It will also work with drones for capturing content when you are flying, as well as DSLRs. And that is because it does come with that SD card adapter.

Samsung offers a 10-year warranty on these micro SD cards, so if something should go wrong with them, you can get it fixed or replaced under Samsung's warranty, which is always a good thing here. These are also x-ray and waterproof, so they can go through the x-ray machine at the airport, and you won't need to worry about it getting damaged, which is always a good thing. These won't be on sale for long, so you're going to want to grab one before it's gone.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. However, if you are in one of the select areas that has Prime Now, this is also available and you can get it within a couple of hours, if you are in desperate need. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. That includes Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, and even some benefits at Whole Foods.
