The OUKITEL U23 will be announced soon, as the company has just released a new promo video for the device, and also shared some more info about it. OUKITEL said that it will share even more info later this week, as the 2018 Global Sources Electronics Show in Hong Kong is about to start. The company will bring its existing lineup of smartphones to the show, but it will also share more info about the OUKITEL U23, quite possibly even announce the phone in full.
The company has confirmed that the OUKITEL U23 will be fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, and that chip will be clocked at 2.0GHz. The device will include 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while it will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The phone will feature a 6.18-inch fullHD+ display, and we're looking at an 18:9 display aspect ratio here. The device will also be quite thin, says OUKITEL, and the provided video shows that it will be made out of metal and glass, or at least it seems like it. The back side of this phone will sport a gradient color setup, while a fingerprint scanner will be located on the back as well. The OUKITEL U23 will ship with two vertically-aligned cameras, while an LED flash will be included in-between them. Those two cameras will protrude on the back of the phone, and all the physical keys of this phone will be located on the right, in other words, its power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons. The OUKITEL U23 will also feature wireless charging.
The back side of the phone will be curved, while OUKITEL's logo lies on the back as well. As you can see, the phone will sport a display notch, and that notch will not exactly be tiny, but we've seen a number of notches that are considerably larger than that. The device will utilize on-screen buttons, and if you'd like to know more about gradient colors that we've mentioned, check out the video which is embedded down below.
