OnePlus 6T Official Wallpapers Now Available To Download

The OnePlus 6T got announced yesterday, and it comes with a new set of official wallpapers, of course. As was the case with the OnePlus 6, and a number of previous OnePlus devices, a person who designed those wallpapers is called Hampus Olsson. The designer actually published the all-new set of wallpapers on his official website, for those of you who are interested, and those wallpapers are available in 2K, 4K and ‘Never Settle’ versions, as was the case earlier this year and OnePlus 6 wallpapers. The designer emphasizes that in this case, he wanted to keep the design of these wallpapers similar to the ones released with the OnePlus 6. He says that he started the process in the 3D app Blender, and then experimented from there, which resulted in what you’re seeing down below. Mr. Olsson says that he delivered over 20 wallpapers to OnePlus to pick and choose which ones they’d like to include on the device.

Interestingly enough, each of these wallpapers that are available down below has a live version, though live versions of these wallpapers are exclusive to the OnePlus 6T, at least for now. Live wallpapers are actually running at 60FPS, which is a first for the designer. As you can see, OnePlus and Mr. Olsson decided to include only three wallpapers on the OnePlus 6T, which is not surprising, as the company doesn’t exactly include a ton of them out of the box, ever. You can check out all of these wallpapers in the gallery down below, though do keep in mind that those versions are compressed, if you’d like to download them in their full size, either visit the designer’s website, or hit the download link down below, which will download all versions to the device you’re reading this article from.

Background: The OnePlus 6T was announced yesterday, and it actually resembles the OnePlus 6 quite a bit, though it does have a much smaller notch, and no visible fingerprint scanner. The OnePlus 6T comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the so-called ‘teardrop’ notch. You will not find a 3.5mm headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T, nor an LED notification light which got removed in order to fit that smaller notch on the phone. The build is quite similar to that of the OnePlus 6, as the device will feel similar in your hand, despite the fact it’s a bit taller and thicker, while it’s also a little bit narrower despite having a larger display than the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.39-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, while it got announced in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, while the device includes a 3,700mAh non-removable battery, and the company’s proprietary fast charging solution.

Impact: The OnePlus 6T is not exactly a huge step away from the OnePlus 6, quite the contrary, it’s a rather similar phone which comes with an improved design, and an innovative new fingerprint scanner. The device offers the same processor, RAM, and even cameras as the OnePlus 6, so it’s more of a new iteration of the OnePlus 6 than anything else. If you like the wallpapers that come pre-installed on the device, and you’d like to download them, all the links are included down below.
