Deal: Woot Has Sony WH-H800 H.Ear Wireless On-Ear Headphones For $89 - October 2018

Woot is currently selling the Sony WH-H800 H.Ear Wireless On-Ear Headphones for just $89.99, and that is down from $229. And this actually marks the all-time lowest price for the WH-H800, as the previous low was around $149, back in February. That is a pretty impressive price drop, especially when you consider the fact that these headphones are new and not certified refurbished models. As usual with Woot, this price isn't going to last long and it will be gone rather quickly.

The Sony WH-H800 is part of its higher-end line of headphones, but also part of the H.Ear lineup. Essentially this means that they are high-end headphones, but don't have the bass that you'd find in something like the WH-1000X M3 headphones. These do, however, still sport support for Hi-Res audio, so you can still get your great sounding audio. For those that might not be in the know, that means it'll sound like a CD or a track, and it's going to sound really good. Of course, audio quality is something that Sony has always taken very seriously, and that is because Sony is also a record label, so it wants its music to sound good on its headphones. That should not be a surprise, in the slightist.

In addition to the WH-H800 having really good sounding audio, it also has a compact design that can fold up and into your bag pretty nicely. This is going to allow you to take these headphones virtually anywhere with you, and that's always a good thing. Sony does include a carrying pouch with the WH-H800, so you can keep them protected while they are in your bag. Now these are wireless headphones, so they will connect to your smartphone using Bluetooth. Now, Sony has made it super simple to connect these to your smartphone, and that is NFC. It's a little-known feature for Sony headphones and speakers, but definitely helpful. Just tap your phone on the NFC logo on the headphones and it'll pair the two automatically. Finally, it's time to talk battery life. The WH-H800 will last around 24 hours of continuous playback. So you can listen to all of your favorite tunes all-day long and not even have to worry about charging them.

Woot does offer free shipping, but only for Amazon Prime members, and with Prime you will get two-day shipping on most items. So if you are not an Amazon Prime member, you will need to pay a flat fee for shipping, which is generally around $5 but it will vary based on the product. Although you can also opt to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime and still get free shipping here. So that's a great way to get around it, just remember to cancel your trial before it expires, or you'll be paying $119 each year - which really isn't a bad price if you do order from Amazon quite often. Woot does not charge taxes either, which is pretty good for those that want a great deal.
