Amazon is currently offering the Roku Streaming Stick for just $39, that is good for around $10 off of its regular price, and that does also bring it down to its lowest price all-time, by about a buck. That makes this a great time to pick up the Roku Streaming Stick as you likely aren't going to find it any cheaper, any time soon. And this is also an absolute steal for what you're getting, it was an absolute steal at $49, and now $10 cheaper it's even more of a steal.

The Roku Streaming Stick is a small HDMI streamer from Roku, that essentially offers you all of the basics. This is not a 4K HDR streaming stick, instead it does it at 1080p. That would make this a great streaming stick to use on a secondary TV in your home that isn't 4K, or if you don't watch any 4K content. The stick is nice and small and will hide behind your TV, it also can have the USB cable plugged into the TV, since it doesn't need a whole lot of power here. Since this is running on the Roku platform, you're going to have access to over 500,000 movies and TV shows through the different apps on the Roku Streaming Stick. All of the popular apps are included here, that includes YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, SHOWTIME ANYWHERE, DIRECTV NOW, Sling TV and much more. What really sets the Roku Streaming Stick apart from the Amazon Fire TV Stick - which is the same price - is the fact that Google's apps are available here, while they are not available on Amazon's devices. So if you use YouTube or Google Play Movies & TV then this is the one to pick up.

One of the more popular features of Roku's HDMI streamers and streaming boxes is the fact that there is a headphone jack on the remote control - while your phone doesn't have one. This allows you to listen to your favorite movies and TV shows without waking up others in the home. So if you're up late watching a game, you can watch it without waking up your significant other or even your kids. That is a pretty small feature that Roku includes here, but it is one of the best features of any set-top box.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. However, if you are in one of the select areas that has Prime Now, this is also available and you can get it within a couple of hours, if you are in desperate need. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. That includes Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, and even some benefits at Whole Foods.
