Deal: Amazon Has The Hisense 40-Inch 1080p LED TV For $169 - Today Only

Amazon is discounting the Hisense 40-inch 1080p LED TV today, for just $169. That is good for around $60 off of its regular price. This is part of Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day, so it's not going to be on sale for long - and it is only good today, which will end at midnight PST. So if you're looking for a new, inexpensive TV, this is definitely a deal to jump on.

This TV from Hisense is a 40-inch, 1080p TV, which is also a 2018 model, so you're getting the latest and greatest everything, with the exception of the resolution here. While this is not a 4K TV, and is a 1080p TV, that shouldn't deter you from picking it up. This is still a really good TV to pick up for a number of reasons. Firstly because most of the content available these days is still in 1080p, with very few content being in 4K resolution right now. There are two HDMI ports available here - so you could use one for the NVIDIA SHIELD TV which is also on sale today - as well as a USB port, and an ethernet port for streaming content. There are a slew of apps pre-installed here, including Netflix, VUDU, and many more. This makes it a great TV to pick up and use in a bedroom, or even in another room of your home, in addition to the living room.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
