Amazon currently has a two pack of the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Lite on sale for just $29.98. That is good for around $10 off of its regular price, which was already a pretty big steal. Especially considering most smart plugs are around $40-50 by themselves, nevermind getting two for less than that price.
This smart plug from Kasa is a smaller smart plug, which means that you'll be able to use the other plug in your wall outlet. These are longer instead of taller. They also allow you to control whatever is plugged into the outlet, whether that be a lamp, a TV or something else. You'll be able to turn it on or off, and you can also schedule when to turn it on or off. So say you want to turn a lamp on when you get home from work at around 6pm, you can set it to do that using the Kasa app. Of course, these do also both work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you are able to use your voice to control these smart plugs as well, which is definitely a plus. Kasa is a sub-brand of TP-Link, effectively, it is their smart home brand. Just as Arlo was a sub-brand of NETGEAR (before they broke it out into its own company a few months ago).
This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
