Deal: Amazon Discounts Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus By $100 - October 2018

Amazon has just discounted the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus by $100 each. This brings these back down to some pretty low prices for each model, and makes them an even better option for those looking for a new high-end smartphone, than before. The Galaxy S9 is priced at $619 and the Galaxy S9 Plus is priced at $739 (and there is a coupon you can clip on the Galaxy S9 Plus to save an additional $7.40, bringing it down to $732.59.

The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus were both announced earlier this year, and while that sounds like a long time ago in the smartphone world, it really isn't. And this is because they both have all of the features of recently announced smartphones like the Galaxy Note 9. The Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with a 3000mAh capacity battery. The Galaxy S9 Plus is slightly different with a 6.4-inch display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, along with a 3500mAh capacity battery. Both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The regular Galaxy S9 sports a 12-megapixel camera, while the Galaxy S9 Plus adds a second camera that is a telephoto lens. It also has a variable aperture, allowing you to make the sensor wider to allow more light for those low-light photos.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
