Amazon Discounting Select SanDisk Storage Products - Today Only

Amazon is discounting a number of storage products from SanDisk today, as part of its Gold Box Deal of the Day. This includes a slew of micro SD, SD cards, flash drives and so much more. If you were looking to get your hands on some new storage products to store your digital life, then now is definitely the time to stock up on them. This is part of Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day, which means it will only be available until midnight PST tonight. So you'll want to grab them before they are gone.

The micro SD cards that are on sale today are part of the "Extreme" family of micro SD cards, which sport 160MB/s read and write speeds. You can pick up the 64GB SanDisk Extreme micro SD Card for $29.99, and it comes with the SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 micro SD card reader. So if you need to get a new micro SD card reader since your laptop has decided to get rid of it, well this is a great deal. The 128GB SanDisk Extreme and 256GB models also come with this micro SD card reader. The 128GB SanDisk Extreme micro SD card is priced at $42.99, with the 256GB capacity being priced at $102.99. Both of which are pretty good deals, seeing as those are usually the discounted prices for these, but you also get that micro SD card reader thrown in for free.

When it comes to flash drives, there is the tried and true SanDisk Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive on sale, but only in the 256GB capacity. That's a pretty big capacity for a flash drive, and it's just $35.99. That's a whole lot of storage for a pretty low price. Then there is the SanDisk Ultra Flair, available in 64GB and 256GB capacities. This is a bit thinner than the Cruzer flash drive, and it's made of stainless steel which looks really good. Though the biggest difference here is definitely the USB 3.0 compatibility, allowing for even faster transfer speeds. The 64GB SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive is priced at $13.49, with the 256GB capacity priced at $41.99. Finally, in the flash drive category, there's something a bit different. The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is currently on sale. This is a really good portable SSD to pick up and use for storing files, especially larger ones. Since it is an SSD, you're going to get much faster speeds, around 500MB/s on both the read and write. Unfortunately, only the 2TB version is on sale, which is priced at $339.99, and that's good for $360 off of its regular price, a huge deal, especially if you do need that much storage.

SanDisk also has a couple of flash drives available for smartphones. This is part of the Connect Wireless Stick series, and both the 128GB and 256GB capacities are on sale. These will use WiFi to connect to your smartphone using the SanDisk app, and you can transfer files between the flash drive and your smartphone using the app. It's a pretty interesting device, and right now the SanDisk 128GB Connect Wireless Stick Flash Drive is currently priced at $39.99 with the 256GB capacity being priced at $79.99. Both are really great prices for these wireless flash drives. Now if you still want a flash drive you can use with your smartphone, but you'd rather plug it in, well the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB 3.0 Drive is here for you. This sports a USB-A port and a micro USB port (unfortunately, it's not USB-C for most newer smartphones). It has a 128GB capacity and it is priced at $25.99. Western Digital, the parent company to SanDisk, has a great deal on the WD My Passport X 2TB. This is an external portable hard drive that is made specifically for the Xbox One. So if you are running out of space on your Xbox One, you can plug this in and use it to store some more games on your console without having to delete any. 2TB is going to more than double the amount of storage for your Xbox One, seeing as many come with 1TB, and some with just 500GB of storage. This one is priced at $59.19. Western Digital also has its My Passport Go Cobalt SSD Portable drive, which has 500GB of storage here, and it's much larger than the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD we listed above, which does make it cheaper. This one is priced at $89.99.

Finally, those that need a new SD card (a regular sized SD card, and not a micro SD), SanDisk has a couple on sale today as well. The SanDisk Ultra SD card is on sale in 64GB and 128GB capacities. These are great SD cards to pick up, since the Ultra lineup touts faster read and write speeds as well as lasting much longer. So you won't need to worry about your SD card going bad while you are using it in your camera or another device. If you are a photographer, this is a really great time to pick up a spare SD card or two. The SanDisk Ultra 64GB SD Card is available for $13.19, and the 128GB SD card is available for $23.50. There are also a few other SanDisk products on sale today.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. However, if you are in one of the select areas that has Prime Now, this is also available and you can get it within a couple of hours, if you are in desperate need. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. That includes Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, and even some benefits at Whole Foods.
