Ulefone has just announced that its new rugged handset, the Ulefone Armor 3T, is available for pre-order. The Ulefone Armor 3T is actually a crowdfunded smartphone, it is listed on Indiegogo, and if you opt to pre-order it, you will get a 30-percent off, also known as early bird discount. This essentially means that you will have to pay $299 to get the device, while its original price tag stands at $429. Ulefone says that only 200 units are available at this special price point, so if you're interested, it would be smart to act fast, as the Indiegogo link is included down below.
You will notice that the Ulefone Armor 3T is a rugged smartphone the moment you lay your eyes on it. The device is reinforced all over, and its bezels are not the thinnest around, which is to be expected considering this is a rugged device. A single camera is located on the back of this smartphone, while it comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The Ulefone Armor 3T comes with walkie-talkie functionality, and a rather large antenna is included in the package. You can mount this antenna on the top of the device when needed. The Ulefone Armor 3T is IP68 and IP69K certified for water and dust resistance, water pressure up to 100 bar, and against extreme temperatures (up to 80 degrees Celsius). The device also comes with MIL-STD-810G certification for ruggedness.
The Ulefone Armor 3T features a 5.7-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) OnCell display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek MT6764T 64-bit octa-core processor, while it comes with Bluetooth 4.0. This phone offers microSD card expansion up to 256GB, while it supports dual 4G LTE with VoLTE. A 21-megapixel camera is located on the back of the device, while a 13-megapixel camera can be found on the phone's front side. A 10,300mAh battery is also included in the package, while the device comes in Black with Orange color variant, it's essentially black with orange accents.
