Deal: TP-Link Kasa Cam 1080p Smart Home Security Camera for $84 - September 2018

Amazon is currently discounting the TP-Link Kasa Cam today, bringing the price down to just $83.99. That is a really good price for this smart home security camera, seeing as it's original price was $129, and it typically runs for around $90. This also brings it down to its all-time lowest price.

This smart home security camera from TP-Link is a great one to pick up. It's not jampacked with features, like something from Nest, or Arlo, but it will do the job, and that's what matters. This one can stand on your table or be mounted on the wall or ceiling. It is also capable of recording at 1080p resolution, so you are able to get a pretty good picture with this camera, and there is nightvision included here as well. The Kasa Cam is a good looking camera to pick up, and it does also work with Amazon Alexa, so if you have a Fire tablet, Fire TV or an Echo Show/Spot, you can ask Alexa to pull up the stream from this camera onto the screen, and see what's going on without having to open the Kasa app yourself. It's definitely a niche feature, but it is cool to see it available. Kasa will of course, send you notifications when there is movement in the area that it is recording, so you'll know when something is going on.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
