Deal: SanDisk Ultra 256GB Micro SD Card For $73 - September 2018

Amazon has discounted the SanDisk Ultra 256GB Micro SD Card to just $73.83. That is good for around half off of the original price of this micro SD card, since it was originally priced at $149, and typically runs at around $99. So that's still a decent price for 256GB of storage here.

This micro SD card from SanDisk is part of its Ultra lineup, which means fast read and write speeds, but it is also A1 compatible for running apps and games. SanDisk boasts 100MB/s for both the read and write, which is pretty impressive, but also pretty common these days. With those read and write speeds, you are going to be able to record 4K footage on your smartphone pretty easily, and not have to worry about waiting for the footage to write to the SD card, since it should happen almost instantly. This is also a A1 compatible micro SD card, this is going to allow you to run apps and games from your micro SD card, and it'll be the same speed as the internal storage on your smartphone. So you won't run into any issues with speed here. Now that will only work on phones that have Adoptable Storage, which isn't very many. But devices like the Moto Z3 Play, Moto G6 and other Motorola phones do support it. Now you can still use this to store your music, movies, pictures and more on other phones like the Galaxy Note 9, LG G7 ThinQ and others.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
