Deal: NETGEAR Orbi Home Mesh WiFi System (3-Pack) At Amazon For $249 - September 2018

Amazon is currently discounting the NETGEAR Orbi Home Mesh WiFi System to $279. That is already $20 off of the regular price - and this 3-pack doesn't generally go on sale, especially since the 3-pack only debuted a few months ago. But now, if you clip the $30 off coupon on the page, you can get this for just $249. That is a really great price for a Mesh WiFi System that can cover up to 6000-square-feet.

The NETGEAR Orbi is a Mesh WiFi system that allows you to get better WiFi coverage, without relying on signal extenders and repeaters. Those typically are repeating the signal and thus offering worse WiFi speeds. Mesh doesn't do that. It allows you to get better signal and speed, by essentially putting routers throughout the house. Though only the actual "router" needs to be plugged into your modem. The other two are "satellites" and can be plugged in anywhere. But this also means that you could get a wired connection elsewhere, and not just at the router. Which is also pretty useful. Mesh is also good if you have a lot of devices on your network - particularly for smart home products. This is because it can intelligently move these products from 2.4GHz to 5GHz WiFi to get the best experience. It's definitely worth picking up, especially if you do have a larger home, or a multi-story home.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
