Deal: iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Vacuum (Works With Alexa) for $549 - September 2018

Amazon currently has the iRobot Roomba 960 robot vacuum on sale for just $549. That is good for $150 off or about 21-percent off of its regular price. This is a great price for the iRobot Roomba 960 robot vacuum, especially since this is one of iRobot's more high-end robot vacuums that are available on the market.

The iRobot Roomba 960 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can use your voice to control this vacuum, as well as the Roomba app (available on both Android and iOS). This vacuum also sports iRobot's iAdapt 2.0 navigation system, this allows the robot to map out your home and know where to clean, instead of just cleaning in a random pattern like cheaper robot vacuums, and making sure it doesn't miss any spots. While there were reports of iRobot selling maps of people's houses, that is not the case. That information does not leave the Roomba, so you don't need to worry about it getting sold. This is also capable of getting up all of the pet hair in your home, that is because of the great suction power that the Roomba 960 sports, and is able to get up all of the dirt, as you might expect from a robot vacuum. This is compatible with carpet as well as hardwood floor and tile surfaces.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
