Deal: iRobot Roomba 690 Robot Vacuum For $279 - September 2018

Amazon has the iRobot Roomba 690 Robot Vacuum on sale right now for $279. That is about $70 off of its regular price, and does bring this particular model back down to its all-time lowest price. This makes it a really good time to pick up the Roomba 690, especially if you've been looking for a robot vacuum to bring home.

The iRobot Roomba 690 has all of the tech you'd find in other Roomba robot vacuums, including the 3-stage patented cleaning, that is able to get all of the dirt up off of the carpet in your home and your hardwood/tile floors. It also has the navigation system built-in, so that it knows what areas of the house have been cleaned and what still needs to be cleaned. The Roomba 690 can still be controlled with the iRobot app - available on Android and iOS - as well as being able to schedule cleanings with the app. This is great because you could schedule it to clean just before you get home from work, and can come home to a clean home. The iRobot Roomba 690 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. So you can control it with your voice. This can be useful if you are cooking and you spill something, you could ask Alexa to tell the Roomba to start cleaning up in the kitchen, while you continue cooking.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
