Deal: AUKEY Dual-Port Charging Station With USB-C PD for $36 w/ Code – September 2018

Amazon has discounted AUKEY's very popular dual-port Charging Station which does support USB-C PD, bringing the price down to just $36. That is when you use the promo code AUKEYYP2 at checkout. That knocks about $13 off of the price which was already down from $69. Making this a really great deal for those that are looking for a new desktop charger.

This charging station from AUKEY is a dual-port charging station, and it also has a USB-C port. So it technically has three ports – two USB-A and one USB-C port. Meaning that it would work for charging virtually anything. That USB-C port is actually a USB-C PD port, so it would work for safely (safer than Quick Charge 3.0) charge your smartphone quickly, but also work great for charging a Nintendo Switch or a laptop that would use a lot more current than a smartphone or tablet. The other two ports use AUKEY's proprietary fast charging technology, AiPOWER. This technology will enable the charger to talk to your smartphone and figure out how much current it can take on a single charge, and then deliver that much current. So that you can charge your phone quickly – up to 2.4A per port – without worrying about damaging your smartphone. Which is a really cool feature to have here.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
