Deal: Amazon Fire 7 Tablet For $34.99 - September 2018

Amazon is currently discounting its popular Fire 7 tablet, bringing the price down to $34.99. That is the all-time lowest price, and a price we generally only see during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. So this is definitely worth jumping on. However, this price is only available for Prime members. If you are not a Prime member, you can still sign up for the free 30-day trial and take advantage of this deal, and then cancel before the 30 days is up.

The Amazon Fire 7 is a very cheap and inexpensive tablet, so you're not going to be getting a super high-resolution OLED display here like you might find on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, which is more than 10x this price (closer to 20x the sale price). Instead, you are getting a somewhat decent 7-inch display, with an octa-core processor inside. There is also 1.5GB of RAM with 8GB of storage. That is definitely not a lot of storage, but there is a micro SD card slot for expanding storage, and FireOS does allow you to store apps and games on the micro SD card, which is definitely a nice thing here. The Amazon Fire 7 is a great tablet to use if you want to do some reading, but want something that can do more than a Kindle. This can also play some games, browse the internet, and even be used to get some work done. And let's not forget, you can also use it to shop on Amazon's website.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
