The CHUWI Hipad is the latest tablet offering by CHUWI, and that tablet will be available for pre-order via GearBest later today for $159.99. CHUWI is referring to this tablet as a tablet for "entertainment and gaming', and the device resembles the Nubia Red Magic if you look at it from the back. From the front, the CHUWI Hipad looks more or less like any other tablet out there, its bezels are not too thick, but they're thick enough so that you can hold the tablet properly while using it.
Now, the CHUWI Hipad is not exactly a high-end tablet, but its specifications are nothing to scoff at, quite the contrary. The CHUWI Hipad comes with the MediaTek Helio X27 64-bit deca-core processor, and it is clocked at 2.6GHz. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, while it also comes with a 7,000mAh battery on the inside, and that battery is not removable. Android Oreo comes pre-installed on the device, while the phone's display is fully laminated. Speaking of the display, the CHUWI Hipad features a 10.1-inch OGS fullHD display with a 16:10 display aspect ratio. Bluetooth 4.1 is included in this tablet, and the device also supports 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi. This tablet managed to score 104,079 points on AnTuTu, while it hit 1,698 points in Geekbench's single-core test, and 4,432 points in the multi-core test.
CHUWI actually compares the CHUWI Hipad to the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite and the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 (2018), and often refers to it as a more affordable variant of those two tablets. The CHUWI Hipad is, indeed, considerably cheaper than those two offerings, and if you don't mind some differences between them, it could be a good choice for you, as it seems like quite a capable tablet, at least on paper.
