UMIDIGI has just announced that the Z2 Pro handset will become available for pre-order on August 13, starting at 2AM (UTC). The company will offer all three variants of the Z2 Pro starting on that date, including Twilight, Carbon Fiber, and Luxury Ceramic Edition variants of the device. In addition to that, the company is currently running a giveaway for the Luxury Ceramic Edition of the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro, as it will select five people to help it test the device, and those consumers will also get to keep the phone, of course. Link for the giveaway is included below the article, in case you're interested.
The UMIDIGI Z2 and Z2 Pro were introduced a while back, and the Z2 has been available for purchase for a while now. Well, the Z2 Pro is similar to the Z2, it actually looks the same, but there are some differences on the inside, of course. Needless to say, the Z2 Pro is the more powerful of the two devices, it comes with more storage, a more powerful processor, NFC, and (fast) wireless charging. The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro is made out of metal and glass, it sports really thin bezels, and a display notch. Its display features rounded corners, while there are two cameras included on the back of the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro. A fingerprint scanner sits on the back of the device as well, while the same can be said for the company's logo. All the physical keys are included on the right-hand side of the device, while its SIM card tray is accessible from the left.
The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro is fueled by the Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor from MediaTek, while it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable via a microSD card). The phone sports a 6.2-inch fullHD+ display, and four cameras, 16 and 8-megapixel cameras are included both on the phone's front and back sides, different sensors, though. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on this phone, while the device supports facial scanning as well. Dual 4G VoLTE is also a part of the package, as is fast charging (18W), and fast wireless charging (15W).
