Ulefone Armor 5 Gets Dipped In Beer, Wine & Oil: Video

The Ulefone Armor 5 is one of the newest Ulefone-branded smartphones, and the company has decided to prove that the phone is waterproof in a new promo video which got published on YouTube. In this video, Ulefone has published a series of events in which the Armor 5 gets wet. The first scene includes a cup of tea or coffee on the desk, which accidentally gets spilled all over the device, which is a scenario that can happen rather easily. After the event, the lady who spilled tea / coffee simply wiped off the device, and the Ulefone Armor 5 was just fine.

The second test that Ulefone conducted includes beer. The company decided to put the Armor 5 in plastic containers, and pour some beer in those containers. After that, the containers were covered, and the content was mixed up, so that the whole phone gets drenched in beer. Following that, the Ulefone Armor 5 got dunked into orange juice for 10 minutes in those very same containers, and that did not do anything to damage the phone either. A series of other, similar tests followed, including Coca-Cola, wine, milk, and even oil. The Armor 5 handled all those tests really well, and it remained operational.

The Ulefone Armor 5, for those of you who do not know, is a rugged smartphone which is IP68-certified, and which is made out of metal and glass, despite the fact it’s a rugged handset. The device comes with a rather large 5,000mAh battery, while it sports 16 and 5-megapixel cameras on the back. A notch is a part of the package, while the phone supports wireless charging as well, not to mention that it includes a fingerprint scanner, and can also scan your face as a way to unlock the device. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on this phone, and the company is actually offering everyone a $60 discount as we speak, as the device is available for $189.99 from Banggood.
