Ulefone has just announced that it will use Indiegogo, a crowdfunding platform, in order to bring the Ulefone Armor 3T to life. The Ulefone Armor 3T is a rugged smartphone which can also work as a walkie-talkie, and the device is already listed on Indiegogo, a link is available below this article. This smartphone is IP68-certified for water and dust resistance, while the phone is also dustproof and resistant to drops, says the company.
The Ulefone Armor 3T definitely looks like a rugged smartphone, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing, quite the contrary. The phone is made mostly out of metal, and its antenna, for walkie-talkie functionality, can be removed, you can simply unscrew it when you don't need it in order to make the phone less tall, as that antenna is quite large. The device will sport a single camera on its back, and right below it, you will notice Ulefone's branding, while the back side of the device will sport an interesting texture which should prevent the phone from sliding around in your hand. The company says that you will be able to unlock this device using your fingerprint, and its fingerprint scanner is not located on either front or back, so Ulefone probably decided to utilize a side-facing fingerprint scanner here.
The Ulefone Armor 3T will offer facial scanning as well, while the device will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Ulefone says that the device will support "global frequency bands", and that it will come with an NFC chip and Google Pay support. A 10,300mAh battery will be included in the package as well, while the device will be fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek. The Ulefone Armor 3T will sport 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while a 21-megapixel camera will sit on the back of the phone. A 13-megapixel camera will sit on the phone's front side, and if you're interested in the device, you can sign up now on Indiegogo in order to get a 30-percent Early Bird discount once the phone becomes available (for crowd-funding) on the platform.
