DOOGEE S70 Is A Gaming-Oriented Rugged Smartphone

The DOOGEE S70 is a new, upcoming smartphone from DOOGEE’s workshop, and interestingly enough, the company refers to this phone as the gaming rugged smartphone, which is a rather interesting combination. The DOOGEE S70 is not available just yet, but the company did announce it via its official website, while DOOGEE also announced that this will be a crowd-funded smartphone, as a listing for DOOGEE S70 already surfaced on Indiegogo. On Indiegogo, you can sign up now in order to save up to 40-percent once the phone launches, that much is noted on the landing page.

Now, as far as the device itself is concerned, it looks like a rugged smartphone, that’s for sure. The DOOGEE S70 is made mostly out of metal, though it includes some other materials as well. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while you will notice two cameras on the back of this phone, while a fingerprint scanner is located right below them. DOOGEE’s branding is easy to spot on the back of the DOOGEE S70, and this phone is actually fueled by one of MediaTek’s mid-range processors, the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core SoC. The DOOGEE S70 features a 5.99-inch fullHD+ display, while it comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while DOOGEE also notes that it has some sort of a cooling system in place as well. The phone is IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified, while a 5,500mAh non-removable battery is also included here in order to handle all those gaming sessions.

The DOOGEE S70 will come with an NFC chip, it will support wireless charging, and ship with a 24W flash charger, says the company. 12 and 5-megapixel cameras will be included on the back of the phone, while a single 16-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. Considering that the DOOGEE S70 is a gaming smartphone, DOOGEE will also offer a gamepad accessory for the device, the DOOGEE G1. You can check out the DOOGEE G1 in a video that is embedded down below, and it is worth noting that the gamepad will connect to the DOOGEE S70 via Bluetooth, as expected. We’re still not sure when will this phone become available, but if you’d like to be notified, navigate to the DOOGEE S70 Indiegogo page, and sign up using your e-mail address.
