Deal: Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series I) for $299 - August 2018

Amazon has the Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series I) headphones on sale right now for $299. That is $50 off of the regular price. Normally, that wouldn't be a big enough discount to warrant writing about, but Bose is one of those companies that never discounts its products - and thus retailers rarely discount them. So this $50 discount is pretty rare and worth jumping on.

This is the first generation of the QC35 headphones from Bose, which means there's no Google Assistant support here. That's not a big deal, because you don't really buy these for Google Assistant. You buy these for the comfort, the incredible noise cancellation and sound quality. These headphones are super comfy to wear, and many will wear them during long-haul flights. The noise cancellation on these headphones is also very good, going back to wearing these during long-haul flights, it makes it a much more enjoyable flight when you are watching your movies, as it blocks out the plane's noises. Finally, the audio quality here is top-notch, as you'd expect from Bose. These are wireless headphones, and will last you around 20 hours on a single charge. That is pretty standard at this price point. However, you use them wired and just turn on noise cancellation, you will be able to get a whopping 40 hours on a single charge.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
