Deal: Anker PowerPort Wireless 5 Pad For $10.99 w/ Code - August 2018

Amazon currently has Anker's popular PowerPort Wireless 5 Pad for just $10.99, that is good for $9 off of its regular price. Essentially taking half off of this wireless charger. That is when you use the promo code ANKER1099 at checkout.

This wireless charging pad from Anker is a pretty small one. This is the Wireless 5, so that it only does 5W. That means that it does not support Samsung or Apple's fast wireless charging. But it will still charge all wireless charging-compatible smartphones out there. From the LG G7 ThinQ, to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and everything in between. The way this charging pad works is, you just set your phone down on it, and it'll start charging instantly. Making it really simple to charge your phone overnight. This has a soft-touch plastic layer on top, which is going to keep your phone from sliding around to much. As the last thing you'd want to happen is for your phone to slide off of the charging pad overnight. Anker also has a LED light here, which will indicate whether the phone is charging or not. Definitely a good thing as you do want to make sure that it is lined up correctly and charging. As again, you don't want to wake up to find out your phone is only at 10% charge.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
