If you're looking to buy a tablet, but are not willing to splash out a whole lot money, well, the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 is now on sale via Amazon, a Wi-Fi only variant of the tablet. The device is now priced at $149.99, while its usual price tag stands at $199.99. As far as the design is concerned, it resembles a number of other low-end and mid-range Samsung-branded tablets, it comes with a physical home key, which is flanked by two capacitive keys. This tablet sports a single camera on the back, and its bezels are not exactly thin, but that's to be expected. The device is 8.5mm thick, and it weighs 490 grams.
The device features a 9.6-inch 1280 x 800 display, while it is fueled by the Spreadtrum SC7730SE 64-bit quad-core processor. The device comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which you can expand using a microSD card. A 5-megapixel camera sits on the back of the device, while you'll find a 2-megapixel camera on its front side. A 5,000mAh battery is also a part of the package, and it is not removable, in case you were wondering. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Tab E 9.6, but it's upgradeable to Android 7.0 Nougat. On top of Google's OS, you'll find Samsung's custom UI, of course.
