If you've been planning to get Razer's first-ever smartphone, well, you're in luck, as the device has been discounted as part of Amazon's Prime Day. The Razer Phone is now priced at $524.65, in case you'd like to purchase it. Do keep in mind that the discount applies only for the regular, Black version of the device, the special edition Green variant is not included, even though it's available via Amazon as well.
The Razer Phone was introduced back in November last year as the company's first ever smartphone. The Razer Phone is a gaming smartphone, which was to be expected from Razer, and as such, it aged pretty well in terms of performance, even though it's no longer packing in the most powerful mobile processor out there. The Razer Phone's top and bottom bezels are not exactly the thinnest out there, but not many people expected them to be, considering this phone is meant to be used for gaming, and as such, you need something to grip on to, not to mention that the device sports a pair of front-facing speakers.
The Razer Phone sports a 5.7-inch QHD IGZO IPS LCD display, and it comes with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, while it ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but it's upgradeable to Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is made out of aluminum, and its display has a 120Hz refresh rate. Two 12-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while a single 8-megapixel camera can be found on the device's front side.
