Deal: Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi Router $149.99 – Prime Day 2018

The Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi Router is currently on sale through Amazon's Prime Day deals. This router typically retails for around $199.99 although that price has now been reduced to $184.99. Better still, Prime members can buy the router for just $149.99.

Although one of the obvious benefits of the Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi Router is that it is a router and will look to improve the quality of the Wi-Fi signal in your home, another major benefit is that it comes with a greater focus on security. Specifically, Norton points out it's intrusion detection is able to keep hackers and threats at bay. In addition, Norton does offer a more advanced level of protection for the router by way of a subscription service. While this is a paid-for service, each Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi Router purchase does come with a one year's subscription for free. Something Norton states is the equivalent to a $120 value – which is not far off the entire price of this deal.

Besides the advanced security features the Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi Router also does come with a corresponding Android app that lets the user take control of the network by managing connected devices, adjusting the settings, and also utilizing other advanced features including parental control – such as monitoring what younger users are accessing, creating filters, and pausing the internet as and when needed. To recap, this is one of those deals that is only available to Prime members and will be reflected in cart when checking out. Non Prime-members looking to capitalize on the savings will want to sign up for a free Prime trial before purchasing.
