Amazon has brought the Huawei Mate SE back down to its Prime Day price of $219, which is also back to its all-time low. That is good for $30 off of its regular price and it's still a pretty incredible deal, considering how much smartphone you are getting here.
The Huawei Mate SE is a slightly souped up Honor 7X with more RAM and storage. It sports a 5.93-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display here, it is powered by a 2.36GHz Kirin octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Huawei has included a micro SD card slot for those that might need some extra storage here. There's a large capacity battery inside, which is rated at 3340mAh, and should get you through the full day on a single charge. Finally, Huawei has a dual-camera setup that is Leica-branded on the back, that is going to provide some incredible images. It's a 16-megapixel main sensor and then a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The secondary sensor is really only used for grabbing depth data, which is what gives your pictures a smooth looking bokeh effect. Sure this is also done with software, but it'll look better and more natural when it comes straight from the camera lens, which is why this camera is so good at this.
This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
