Amazon has also discounted a slew of its TV devices ahead of Prime Day, which officially begins later on today. It has discounted the Amazon Fire TV Stick by $20, bringing it to $19.99. The Fire TV and Fire TV Cube are hitting all-time lows at $34 and $89, which make it a great time to pick these up.
The Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV are fairly similar, though the Fire TV is capable of 4K and HDR content. Both are running on Amazon's Fire TV platform, which has a slew of great apps available, including Netflix, Hulu, DIRECTV NOW and so much more. There's also Alexa included, so you are able to use Alexa to find new shows to watch, order pizza from Domino's and so much more. The Fire TV Stick is a good option for those that don't need 4K support and want to save some money – and hide the dongle.
Then there is the Fire TV Cube, which is Amazon's latest device in the TV space. It is essentially a Fire TV and an Amazon Echo fused into one cube-looking device. So you are able to use all of your favorite Fire TV apps on this device, but it is also always listening, so you can talk to Alexa, even when your TV isn't on. In fact, you can ask Alexa to turn on your TV with the Fire TV Cube.
