Amazon has discounted its entire lineup of tablets ahead of Prime Day. Bringing the Amazon Fire 7 back down to its all-time lowest price of $29, the Fire HD 8 down to $49, the Fire HD 10 to $99 and the kids edition tablets are also discounted to $69 and $89 for the 7 and 8-inch versions, respectively.
These tablets from Amazon are pretty popular because they are so cheap, but the Fire HD 10 is perhaps the best option for anyone looking to use this for media consumption. That's due to the high-resolution display as well as the extra internal storage here. However all of these do have micro SD card slots available for expanding storage for those that might need some more room. These do not run standard Android as you would find on a tablet from Samsung, instead its a forked version of Android, and it doesn't have any Google services available, out of the box. These tablets are great for consuming media, since you do get Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go and many other apps available on these tablets. Additionally, Amazon has also included Alexa on these tablets. Allowing you to ask Alexa to do, well virtually anything. This includes finding some new TV shows or movies to watch on your tablet, instead of browsing the usual way.
